Prince Harry Sidelined from His Own Eco-Tourism Firm, Travelist

In a surprising turn of events, has been seemingly sidelined from his own eco-tourism firm, Travelist.

The London-based travel company, which was founded by in 2019, recently announced updates to its board of directors, and Harry's absence from the announcement has raised questions about his continued involvement.

Travelist, a non-profit organization, aims to promote sustainability within the tourism industry.

However, the firm's recent focus on sustainable travel seems to have overlooked the Duke, who has been known to use private jets for his global travels, contributing significantly to carbon emissions, contradicting the firm's mission.

This diminished role for Prince Harry comes after a tumultuous four years since the establishment of Travelist.

During this period, Harry transitioned from being a full-time working royal alongside his wife, , to stepping back from royal duties and relocating to the United States.

In May, Travelist announced its transitional pilot phase, introducing five new board members with expertise in various fields.

This announcement came shortly after Harry and Meghan had a near-catastrophic car chase with paparazzi in New York City, an incident that drew criticism from the NYPD and New Yorkers alike.

Following this announcement, Prince Harry's presence in Travelist's marketing materials has noticeably decreased.

Sally Davey, the Chief Executive of Travelist, shared a press release on May 24th, stating that the company had entered its next phase of growth.

She discussed the brand's progress, mentioning that when it was launched three years ago, it served as a pilot to test the hypothesis that an independent and neutral non-profit could help the travel industry make positive impacts.

Davey also revealed that the founding partners of Travelist had nearly doubled in size, now consisting of nine individuals.

She expressed her appreciation for their hard work and introduced the new board members, excluding Prince Harry.

According to Davey, the board consists of experts in impact, systems change, non-profit governance, and advocacy for a just and sustainable world.

Interestingly, 's husband was not mentioned in the press release about the board members but was named at the bottom of two other press releases, one from June 8th, 2023, and another from July 25th, 2023.

In addition to this development, there are reports suggesting that Prince Harry has distanced himself from his old friends in the UK.

The Daily Mail reported that the Duke of Sussex has cut off contact with his former close friends since settling in the US.

This includes his childhood nanny, Tiggy-Legg Burke, whom he used to be very close to.

It appears that he is no longer returning their phone calls.

A source close to the situation revealed that Prince Harry no longer communicates with his old friends or listens to their advice.

These individuals, like Tiggy-Legg Burke, were instrumental in supporting him in the past and genuinely had his best interests at heart.

Losing such friends can have serious consequences, as they are the ones who would honestly advise him if he made the wrong decisions.

The recent developments surrounding Prince Harry's diminished role in Travelist and his distancing from his old friends highlight the challenges he has faced in recent years.

It remains to be seen how these changes will impact his future endeavors and relationships.
