BBC One’s Celebrity Mastermind Hosted by Mr Humphries

Mr Humphries will be hosting the latest episode of Celebrity Mastermind, airing on BBC One this afternoon.

This week's contestants include Radzi Chinyanganya, Ruth Maderley, Anne Widdicombe, and Tom Reed Wilson.

Mr Humphries is a former BBC employee who retired in 2019.

Since then, he has been vocal in giving his opinion on various topics.

He has emerged as a critic of and , and last August, he hit out at the Sussexes for their spectacular own goal in a column.

During the pandemic, Mr Humphries discussed how members of the Royal Family remain in the media as part of their jobs.

However, he also turned his attention to the publishing of the pro-Sussex biography, Finding Freedom, and claimed that the couple made a mistake.

In 2020, Mr Humphries wrote for the Daily Mail about the publication of the book, which promised to reveal the true story of the Sussexes' relationship and their self-isolation from the Royal Family.

The book, written by Omid Scooby and Carolyn Durand, caused a stir when it was published.

It told and 's side of the story and revealed their reasons for quitting the Royal Family.

The biography also revealed intimate details of the couple's relationship and some of the feuds and fallouts behind palace walls as they approached their Windsor wedding.

It explained how Harry fell out not only with William over Meghan but also with his oldest friend Tom Inskip.

The authors stated in the prologue that the aim of the book was to portray the real Harry and Meghan, a couple who have often been inaccurately portrayed and victims of those with personal agendas.

Meghan's New Children's Book

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will soon release a new children's book titled The Bench.

It is a story about the special bond between father and son, told through the mother's eyes and inspired by her husband Prince Harry's relationship with their two-year-old son, .

The book was inspired by a poem Meghan wrote for Harry on his first Father's Day, just a month after was born in May 2019.

Royal Family Disputes Continue

Disputes within the Royal Family appear to remain rife, with Harry and Meghan's intention to attend the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations next year branded a fresh headache by an insider.

The Jubilee Celebrations will see a four-day bank holiday from Thursday, June 2 to 5, 2022, and feature events at Buckingham Palace to mark the Queen's 70 years on the throne.

However, the source told The Sun that Harry's desire to attend is already causing a headache and is going to be very awkward.

Questions remain about where the couple will be positioned if they turn up, what events they can attend, and whether they will be put on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the flypast.

The insider believes that this celebration for the Queen's 70 years of service to the nation should not be overshadowed.
