Australian actress Cate Blanchett has spoken out against the concept of “my truth” that has been popularized by and .

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar UK, Blanchett ridiculed the idea of speaking one's truth, stating that “the truth is the truth, isn't it?”

Blanchett's comments come after famously used the phrase during her interview with Meghan and Harry last year.

The concept of “my truth” has since been used as a way of stating one's personal opinion or experience.

Blanchett admitted that she doesn't understand the concept and stressed the importance of speaking honestly with one another.

She explained that the truth lies somewhere between what a character says about themselves and what every other character would say about them.

“One of the phrases I just cannot say is my truth,” Blanchett said.

“I mean, the truth is the truth, isn't it?

Language is so important.

My perspective is one thing, but my truth, I don't know what that is.”

Blanchett's comments have sparked a response from some royal fans who claim that the concept of “my truth” is being used to stop anyone from challenging Meghan and Harry.

They argue that if someone shares something that is a blatant lie, they are told it's their truth.

Presenter Andrew Neil also mocked the concept of “my truth” after Meghan and Harry's interview with Oprah.

He claimed that the couple thinks their feelings matter more than facts and that the rise of this phrase is an indicator that they are embodying so-called woke culture.

“People say to me, ‘When are you going to stop criticising and ?'

When they stop attacking the royal family is my answer,” Neil said.

“There's no such thing as someone's individual truth.

When Meghan Markle talks about my truth, it doesn't exist.

There is the truth, which is facts, and then there's everything else.

You don't have your own version of the truth.”

Piers Morgan also criticized Meghan's concept of “my truth,” branding her a liar.

He slammed the release of Prince Harry's upcoming memoir in light of the death of the Queen, stating that the couple does not stop attacking the royal family.

“When Meghan Markle talks about my truth, it doesn't exist,” Morgan said.

“There is the truth, which is facts, and then there's everything else.”

Blanchett's comments may be seen as a dig at Meghan and Harry's tendency to twist the truth to suit their own narrative.

The couple has been embroiled in controversy ever since their bombshell interview with Oprah, where they made a number of shocking claims about the royal family.

It remains to be seen how Meghan and Harry will respond to Blanchett's comments, but it seems that the concept of “my truth” is becoming increasingly controversial.

As Neil pointed out, there is only one truth, and it is based on facts, not personal opinions or experiences.

It is up to each individual to decide whether they accept this truth or not.
