This comes after the controversial docuseries dropped earlier this week.

Princess Catherine has been spotted getting into the holiday spirit as she gets ready to conduct a special Christmas Carol service at Westminster Abbey for the ITV programme Royal Carols Together at Christmas.

Following recent events, the Royal Family is expected to put on a united front for the holiday party, which will be captured on camera on December 15.

King Charles, , the Queen Consort, and are all scheduled to attend.

The event, which is sponsored by the Royal Foundation, will honour those who have given of themselves around the nation, many of whom will be present in Westminster Abbey, as it has in previous years.

The Carol service this year, which will be dedicated to the late II Her Majesty, who died in September this year, is expected to be much more poignant because it will be the first Christmas after the untimely loss of II.

There will be a variety of musical performances in addition to readings by well-known actors like Dame Kristen Scott Thomas, Hugh Bonneville and Cadiza Cox, also including .

The Westminster Abbey Choir will perform a number of carols during the service, including O Come All Ye Faithful, which was chosen by the audience this year.

However, other performers will also perform, including Mel C, Alfie Bow, Samantha Barks, Alexis French and Craig David.

And while the Princess stunned royal admirers by playing the piano with Tom Walker last year, it is unknown if the mother of three would do it again this year.

For anyone not in attendance at the Carol service, a series of Together at Christmas Carol services will be taking place across the country this month to celebrate heroes from local communities.

Even though the Carol service will be taped in the coming days, royal fans will still have to wait a while before they can see the programme.

On Christmas Eve, ITV1 will broadcast Royal Carols Together at Christmas as part of a special show with Catherine Zeta-Jones as the narrator.

The news of Catherine's upcoming Carol service comes after the release of the first instalment of the Harry and Meghan docuseries on Netflix.

The documentary, which is set to release a further three episodes next week, tells the Sussexes' story in their own words, covering topics including their first date, as well as their life together within the royal family.

During the three episodes, the documentary has made a series of claims, including 's allegations that the royal family have a huge level of unconscious bias.

As part of the documentary, the series claims that members of the royal family declined to comment on the content within the series.

However, a senior source said Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and the family were not solicited for a remark despite the opening sequence of their series, first volume, claiming the royal family was approached but declined to speak.
