Catherine, Princess of Wales Stuns in Ivory Alexander McQueen Dress at King’s Coronation

The world watched in awe as Catherine, the Princess of Wales, stepped out in a stunning ivory Alexander McQueen dress for the King's coronation alongside her husband, .

The silk creep gown was adorned with silver bullion and threadwork embroidery featuring rose, thistle, daffodil, and shamrock motifs representing each of the four nations.

Catherine completed her look with a Jess Collett Alexander McQueen headpiece, which featured silver bullion crusation, crystal, and silver threadwork three-dimensional leaf embroidery.

The necklace was one of the late monarch's favorites in her lifetime and was made from 105 loose diamonds kept in reserve at Garrard, stored in pouches marked C's for crown, in case a monarch wanted to extend a necklace or improve a tiara.
