Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, Throws Shade at Meghan Over Erdem Priority

On Monday, March 13th, the UK and Commonwealth countries celebrated Commonwealth Day.

Members of the royal family attended the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, and as always, people were eager to see who showed up and what they wore.

and Catherine, the Princess of Wales, were in attendance, along with King Charles, Queen Consort , Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh.

Catherine looked stunning in a £3,000 Erdem outfit and a diamond Prince of Wales feathers brooch, which was a sweet gift from the King.

She also chose a glittering pair of two-tiered flower-shaped earrings that were previously owned by .

However, it seems that Catherine's choice of designer has caused a stir among the royal family, particularly with Meghan.

Royal fans believe that Catherine threw a little shade at Meghan by taking precedence with Erdem over her.

It was recently revealed that Erdem had been handing his designs to Catherine first, even though Meghan had worn his outfits to several engagements before entering royal life in 2016.

The Princess of Wales was given priority over Meghan as she is an existing customer, which reportedly annoyed the Sussexes.

Meghan's fashion choices as a royal often received criticism for lacking flair and proper fit.

Her pants often had no hem, and her formal dresses didn't fit her very well.

For example, the Endeavour dress she wore was disastrous and didn't even look good on the model, according to some.

Meghan believed she was more of a trendsetter than Catherine because she was a woman of colour, something she never identified with until she got with Harry.

Meghan and Catherine both loved the designer Erdem, but the then Duchess of Cambridge got first dibs because of where she sat in the pecking order of royal wives.

It never occurred to Meghan that Catherine had more experience as a royal than she did.

Catherine was William's on-off girlfriend for a decade before they got married, and just because you come into a new experience doesn't mean you know immediately what to do.

Markle thought she could get whatever she wanted due to her skin tone.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said that before stepping down as working royals, Harry and Meghan were seen as having enormous appeal in the Commonwealth as the contemporary face of the royal family.

However, he pointed out that in the six-episode documentary series, their views on the network of nations came across as far more negative.

The talking head they chose in the six-hour Netflix docuseries, which aired in December, attacked the Commonwealth as a commercial extension of British imperialism.

This was especially unfortunate so soon after the Queen's demise, as it was an institution that she had specially nurtured.

Additionally, it was composed of sovereign independent states, and Togo and Gabon, who had no colonial connection with Britain, have recently joined in.

Although Harry and Meghan resented losing their patronages, it appears that the Commonwealth is not on their priority list.

Meghan's belief that she could get whatever she wanted due to her skin tone and her lack of experience as a royal may have contributed to her frustration with Erdem's preference for Catherine.

Regardless, Catherine looked elegant and regal in her outfit, and it's always exciting to see what the royals wear on special occasions.
