Charlotte Inherits Diana’s Tiara While Lilibet Receives Nothing

is set to inherit one of Princess Diana's most prized heirlooms, the Spencer tiara, while 's daughter will receive nothing.

The seven-year-old daughter of the new Prince and Princess of Wales will be given the pick of the palace jewels, thanks to her being the only daughter of the heir to the throne following the death of Queen Elizabeth on September 8th.

According to reports, two particular heirlooms have already been earmarked which could see the young princess inherit them once she is old enough.

Among them is the show-stopping Spencer tiara, which the late Princess Diana wore on the day of her wedding to King Charles on July 29th, 1981.

The tiara is partly made from a wedding gift given in 1919 by Lady Sarah Spencer to Lady Cynthia Hamilton, Princess Diana's grandmother, for her marriage to Viscount Althorp.

Other jewels belonging to the Spencer family were also used.

However, , who is seventh in line to the throne, is unlikely to be afforded the same honour as .

This has reportedly left feeling angry and bitter towards Charlotte, knowing that she will inherit the jewels and money from Diana and the Queen, while her daughter receives nothing.

It is important to note that Meghan's decision to step back from royal duties was the reason Lilibet received zero.

Queen Elizabeth had her favourite in-law, and it wasn't Meghan Markle or her successor newly appointed Queen .

A paper revealed that Elizabeth was rumoured to have made changes to her will before her death, and it's likely to fall in Kate Middleton's favour.

's wife is expected to inherit the late monarch's pricey jewellery collection, worth a whopping $110 million.

The 300 personal pieces belong to the Queen and not the Crown, an important distinction.

This fortune will, of course, go to Kate's only daughter, Princess Charlotte.

Sources have revealed that Middleton has been focusing on her beloved pieces and who deserves what.

The whispers are that she's made some last-minute changes to her will that will be a shocking surprise for her heirs.

This outlet is now told that Middleton is likely to reap the benefits, a decision that's expected to ruffle some royal feathers.

Kate is clearly the family favourite, according to insiders.

Adding that the move will likely trigger , Meghan, and their significant others, King Charles and .

Camilla, who has been crowned Queen Consort with Elizabeth's blessing, has always been secretly jealous of Middleton's bond with the late Queen.

She'd never say it, of course, said the source, but it's one of the reasons Camilla resented Kate.

From Camilla, Queen Consort all the way to Princess Charlotte, the women of the royal family honoured the Queen through their jewellery, many pieces gifts from the Queen's own collection.

Kate Middleton wore a pearl choker that once belonged to her late majesty, while Meghan wore a pair of pearl and diamond drop earrings that were a gift from the Queen on the occasion of their first joint engagement together in 2018, the same year Meghan married into the family.

The lion's share of the Queen's extensive jewellery collection will be given to Kate, the new Princess of Wales, but according to the outlet, Camilla will get first dibs.

The late monarch owned an extraordinary collection of jewellery worth billions of pounds, and with her passing, these will now be inherited by the women to follow on the throne and other members of the royal family.

In the past, Queen Alexandra, who died in 1925, did not have a will, but she kept a careful record of her jewellery and who each piece would be given to after her death, per the royal collection.

Years later, when Queen Mary died in 1953, she passed on most of her jewellery to her granddaughter Queen Elizabeth II, who wore those sentimental pieces regularly throughout her seven decades on the British throne.

And in 2002, when Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, passed away, she also left all of her jewellery to Queen Elizabeth II, her daughter, further expanding the monarch's collection of historic jewels.
