Duchess Catherine of Cambridge Visits Denmark Amidst Royal Drama

Duchess Catherine of Cambridge arrived in Denmark on Tuesday for a two-day visit, marking her first foreign trip since the pandemic began.

Her first engagement was a visit to the Copenhagen Infant Mental Health Project at the University of Copenhagen.

However, as she arrived in Denmark, photographs of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex dining with surfaced on a US gossip website.

Royal expert and TV personality Richard Eden commented on the coincidence on Twitter.

Despite the drama, Duchess Catherine's visit to Denmark was a success.

She visited the Lego Foundation PlayLab at University College Copenhagen for her final engagement of the day, where she went down a slide, causing laughter and delight among royal watchers.

Social media users praised her for being a good sport and showing spirit and dignity.

However, body language expert Judy James noted that the Duchess appeared nervous at various moments during her overseas tour.

James explained that Catherine's barrier gesture when holding her bag in front of her torso made her look less assured, and she sat with her hands on her lap rather than on the table like the others, giving them the edge in terms of signals of spatial dominance and status.

Despite this, James noted that Catherine showed a keenness and purpose during her visit to Denmark, projecting higher levels of assertive confidence by herself.

Overall, Duchess Catherine's visit to Denmark was a success, despite the drama surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Her willingness to go down a slide and engage in playful activities endeared her to many, showing that she is up for anything.

Her body language may have shown some nervousness, but her calm confidence and charm shone through during her first solo trip abroad since the pandemic began.
