Duchess of Cambridge Plays Piano in Surprise Christmas Eve Appearance at Westminster Abbey

Millions of Britons were given a special treat on Christmas Eve when Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, made a surprise musical appearance during her Christmas Eve telepronanza filmed at Westminster Abbey.

The Duchess played the piano to accompany singer Tom Walker as he performed his hit song, For Those Who Can't Be Here, in a poignant performance.

The concert was held to pay tribute to the inspirational people who served their communities during the pandemic.

The Duchess invited 1,200 stars and heroes to the Royal Carols together at Christmas show, which she hosted.

The event was attended by members of the royal family, including her husband Prince William, Zara and Mike Tindall, Sophie Wessex, Princess Beatrice, and Eduardo Mapelli-Mosi.

The Duchess's family, including her parents, sister, and brother, were also in attendance.

After a rousing rendition of O Holy Night by Leona Lewis, Tom Walker took the stage to perform his song.

His stunning vocals were well-received, but the camera then panned to Catherine, who was playing the piano.

The mother of three looked stunning in a bright red coat and sapphire diamond fringed earrings lent by the Queen.

She appeared very comfortable as she accompanied Tom on the piano.

The magical moment was also noticed by Tom Walker himself, who thanked Catherine for her part in the performance and putting together the whole service.
