Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Children Steal the Show at Trooping the Colour for Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's three children, VIII, VII, and IV, made their debut at Trooping the Colour for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee today, stealing the limelight with their excitement.

The young royals joined their mother Catherine and the Duchess of Cornwall as they made their way down the Mow to Horse Guards Parade for the historic event.

As the little Cambridges waved to well-wishers and looked around at the horses taking part in the monarch's official birthday celebration, Charlotte was spotted ticking off her little brother Louis for waving too enthusiastically at crowds.

An adorable clip shows the seven-year-old asking to stop waving as they made their journey through the crowds.

Meanwhile, and Catherine's oldest child George, dressed in a sharp navy suit with matching blue tie, looked on as the miners' squabble broke out in the royal carriage.

Little Prince Louis, stealing the fashion show in a pristine white sailor suit and bearing a striking resemblance to his father at the same age, looked unperturbed by his sister's chastisement and continued to wave anyway.

Nudged up between his siblings, the young prince appeared comfortable in the public eye as he looked at the thousands of crowds gathered for the historic spectacle.

Clearly enjoying the day too, the Duchess of Cambridge was thought to have told her children, “Look at these colours and all the flags,” as they bypassed thousands of well-wishers on the Mall.

Catherine looked chic in a white coat dress by Alexander McQueen, wearing her hair loosely plaited and tucked under a glamorous white hat by A-list milliner Philip Treacy.

As Catherine, , and the children left in their carriage, a riding groom had an issue with her horse which refused to move.

The carriage had to swerve to avoid the animal, which was eventually persuaded to join the procession.

Showing respect for their great-grandmother, the Cambridge children dutifully bowed their heads when the national anthem was played on their arrival into Horse Guards Parade.

The young royals arrived at Horse Guards Parade alongside their mother and grandmother in a carriage, while their father took part in the procession on horseback, dressed in his Irish Guards uniform.

He was joined by his dad Charles and aunt Princess Anne on a horse named Sir John in her Colonel of the Blues and Royals uniform as part of Trooping the Colour Parade.

The Earl of Wessex, the Countess of Wessex, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, and the Vice Count Severn were in the carriage behind, followed by a third containing the Duke of Gloucester, the Duchess of Gloucester, and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Lawrence.

After the procession, the children were seen peeking out of the window, with Louis even doing an adorable salute to the military officers below.

Proving that sibling rivalry can rear its head even on the most regal of occasions, Charlotte was spotted ticking off her little brother Louis for waving too enthusiastically at crowds.
