Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi Pays Tribute to Late Stepfather on Instagram
Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi, the millionaire property tycoon and husband of Princess Beatrice, took to Instagram to pay tribute to his late stepfather, Christopher Shale.
The touching post marked the 10th anniversary of Shale's death and expressed Mozzi's regret that his stepfather never got to meet his grandchildren, including the couple's upcoming arrival.
Mozzi shared a series of photos of Shale and wrote in the caption, “Not a day goes by without me thinking of you and leaning on all the lessons you taught me.”
He went on to recall how Shale had once told him that being his stepfather was the greatest honor and privilege of his life, and how Mozzi echoed that sentiment.
The post continued with Mozzi expressing how proud Shale would be of their family today and how much joy his grandchildren would have brought him.
Mozzi also thanked Shale for coming into his life when he was just a child and changing everything for the better.

He credited Shale with teaching him honesty, laughter, hard work, and empathy, and said that he loved him today and always.
Mozzi has one son, Wolfie, from a previous relationship with his ex-fiancé Dara Huang.
He and Princess Beatrice announced in May that they were expecting their first child together in the autumn.
Buckingham Palace released a statement at the time saying that both families were delighted with the news.
The couple tied the knot in a secret lockdown wedding last year that was attended by the Queen and the late Prince Philip.
The ceremony took place in Windsor after their original wedding plans were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Mozzi's tribute to his stepfather highlights the importance of family and the impact that loved ones can have on our lives.
