Egyptian Model Tara Ahmad to Play Megan Markle’s Character in Arabic Remake of Suits

Suits, the popular US legal drama, is getting an Arabic remake, and one of the most exciting things about it is that Megan Markle's character, Rachel Zane, will be played by Egyptian model Tara Ahmad.

Megan played the role for seven years in the original series, which ended with her character marrying Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams.

Tara Ahmad, who is just 28 years old, is not only a model but also has her own podcast and has worked in Arabic films previously.

She has a massive following on Instagram, with 2.2 million followers.

Tara was born in Cairo and began modeling at the young age of 14.

She also won Miss Teen Egypt in 2010.

Apart from playing the same character as Megan Markle, Tara and Megan share many other similarities.

Both women are advocates for women's rights and have spoken out against anti-bullying.

They have also both teamed up with dog rescue charities, and Megan is the patron of animal welfare charity Mayhew.

Additionally, both the Duchess and Tara have launched podcast series in the last two years.
