Eugenie and Jack Freeze out Harry and Meghan: A Royal Fallout

It seems like the royal family is not as united as we thought.

Lady C, a renowned royal commentator, recently brought up a point that the media has been ignoring – Eugenie and Jack are now freezing Harry and Meghan out.

Last February, Eugenie and Harry attended the Super Bowl together, and later Eugenie and Jack were photographed laughing together at Caruso's on the beach.

But that was the last pleasant interaction between the couples.

Jack was laid off from his job as a brand ambassador for Casamigos Tequila, which was owned by George Clooney and Randy Gerber.

He was later hired by Meldman to work in sales at his new Vista Terra Golf and Ocean Club housing development, south of Lisbon.

In spring 2022, Eugenie and Jack quietly moved out of the newly remodeled Frogmore Cottage, which Harry and Meghan had previously leased.

They moved back into their much smaller Grace and Favour Home, Ivy Cottage at KP, which was given to them when they first got married.

The cottage only has three bedrooms and was next to the also quite small, not cot, where Harry and Meghan lived while awaiting the completion of the Frogmore renovations.

After Harry re-upped his Frogmore lease in March 2022, he suddenly asked Jack and Eugenie to start paying him $10,000 a month in rent to continue staying at the completely vacant Frogmore Cottage.

No reason was given for this sudden change in arrangement, but it happened during the same time period where Harry and Meghan's SS bills were falling $2 million behind.

Eugenie works for an art dealer, and before that, she worked for an unethical auction house that was closed down on fraud charges.

Jack managed a tiki bar in London, which is how he met Eugenie.

He doesn't come from old money, and his dad is a chartered accountant who gave him a nice upper-middle-class lifestyle.

Jack did not attend uni, and there's no indication that he has a large trust fund.

It's doubtful that Jack and Eugenie have an extra 1 to 200,000 quid just sitting around to give to Harry.

There's no indication of what else happened between the two couples, but at the Platinum Jubilee, Jack and Eugenie showed no warmth towards Harry and Meghan.

They cautiously stood back and avoided any eye contact which could lead to a conversation.

They also skipped Lilibet's birthday party, with no indication that August attended.

At the funeral, it seemed like Harry and Meghan were dead to Jack and Eugenie.

There was no laughter or chatting in St. Paul's, and Jack even looked straight through Harry like he didn't exist.

The cousins were all chatting away, but Harry and Meghan were invisible to them.

Asking for $120,000 a year in rent for a completely vacant house had to have been part of the fallout, but it's doubtful that the rent payment request was all it took.

Eugenie was Meghan's little Soho House buddy, and as King Charles and Palfrey's PA step out, we would expect Fergie to draw closer to the Harkles, not further away.

Reporters should be pointing this out and getting to the bottom of this major change in alliances.

One thing is certain – Eugenie did love her granny and grandpa.

Perhaps it finally hit home to them how badly Harry had hurt the Queen and the toll his abuse was taking on her health.

It's a shame that such a rift has developed between the cousins, but only time will tell if they can reconcile.
