Harry and Meghan Attend Ripple of Hope Awards Gala in New York City

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, made a glamorous appearance at the Ripple of Hope Awards gala in New York City on Tuesday night.

The couple was spotted arriving at the event in style, with Harry donning a navy suit and Meghan sporting a stunning white off-the-shoulder dress.

The royal couple arrived at the venue in an SUV after touching down in the Big Apple on a private jet the day before.

As they exited the vehicle, Harry was seen holding an umbrella while Meghan clutched her purse.

Supporters outside the venue raised their mobile phones to catch a glimpse of the couple, with one clip uploaded to Twitter by ITV journalist Fred Dimbleby.

However, some critics have labeled the event as staged and phony, with claims that there were only around 30 people in attendance.

The Harkles were reportedly shocked at the boos they received during the Jubilee, and it is believed that they did not want to revisit that humiliation.

Some have speculated that the couple’s attendance at the Ripple of Hope Awards gala is part of their efforts to gain footage for their Netflix show.

Responding to the footage, ITV’s royal editor Chris Ship wrote, “Much interest in Harry and Meghan turning up at the Ripple of Hope Awards in New York.

I’d say yes based on this video from our producer Fred Dimbleby at the scene.”

While Harry and Meghan attended the gala in New York City, the Prince and Princess of Wales joined the King and Queen for the first diplomatic corps reception at Buckingham Palace in three years.

Meghan’s custom-made Louis Vuitton off-the-shoulder dress featured a dazzling thigh-high slit, and she looked radiant as she posed for photos.

Royal fans have drawn comparisons between Meghan’s dress and a green number worn by Catherine at the Earthshot Prize ceremony.

Despite some fans praising Meghan’s dress, others believe that Catherine won the dress battle.

A source close to the Royal Family has claimed that aides fear that Meghan and Catherine will be pitted against each other in the Sussex’s new documentary.

The trailer for the controversial series featured an image of the Princess of Wales glaring at the camera while Meghan looks on with concern in an image taken in Westminster Abbey during the 2019 Commonwealth Day service.

Royal expert Angela Levin weighed in on the situation and claimed that the Sussexes are jealous of the Princess of Wales.

“One’s got to beat the other one, and I think that it looks really upsetting that it should come to this,” she said.

Levin also alleged that the Sussexes were competing because they were jealous of the future Queen consort.

“I’m sure that Harry and Meghan are very jealous, particularly of Catherine, because she looks stunning in anything she wears,” she added.

Despite the rumors and speculation, it is unlikely that Harry and Meghan will become king and queen themselves.
