Harry and Meghan Choose Romantic Wedding Night Photo for Christmas Card, While William and Kate Opt for Autumnal Family Snapshot

The holiday season is upon us, and the Royal family has released their annual Christmas cards.

This year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen a romantic photo from their wedding night, while Prince William and Kate Middleton opted for a cozy autumnal snapshot with their children.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's card features a stunning image of the couple with their arms wrapped around each other's waists, taken by photographer Chris Allerton on May 19th during their evening wedding reception.

The photo shows the couple hand in hand as fireworks light up the sky above Frogmore House, a 17th-century royal residence in Windsor near Frogmore Cottage, where they will live from early next year.

In contrast, Prince William and Kate's card is a more casual family photo taken by Matt Porteous.

The image captures the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sitting on a tree trunk in woodland at their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk, with three-year-old Charlotte standing on the trunk with her arms around her parents' shoulders, and five-year-old George playfully holding on to his father's leg.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall also released their Christmas card, featuring a charming photo of the couple sitting on a bench in their Clarence House garden, gazing lovingly at each other.

The photo was taken by photographer Hugo Bernand, who has worked with the Royal family before, including taking the official wedding photos of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011 and Charles and Camilla's big day in 2005.

In the image, the Duchess of Cornwall is wearing a cream and crepe dress by Fiona Clare, which she previously wore in the Prince's official 70th birthday pictures that also featured the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Meanwhile, the heir to the throne is wearing an Anderson and Shepherd suit, shoes by Crockett and Jones, and a Turnbull & Asser shirt.

All three cards feature a simple message wishing recipients a happy Christmas and New Year.
