Harry’s Misogynistic Comment and Meghan’s Big Lie: A Look into the Netflix Documentary
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have opened up about their romance and how their relationship unfolded in the Netflix documentary Harry and Meghan.
However, one comment made by Harry during the documentary has raised eyebrows.
When asked by director Liz Garbus what was going through his head when he saw Meghan walk down the aisle towards him, Harry reportedly made a bit of a misogynistic comment.
“Look at me, look what I got,” he said before Meghan interjected, laughing.
“Oh my gosh.
Look what I found.”

The Daily Mirror's Royal Editor Russell Myers picked up on Harry's statement, calling it “a bit misogynistic.”
However, he also noted that Harry quickly corrected himself, saying, “He qualified himself afterwards because he realised it was a bit misogynistic.
He definitely had to pull the handbrake up on that one.”
Despite this, some viewers were left wondering about Harry's true intentions.
Meghan also shared her thoughts on the big day, saying that everything was surreal.
“It was at that moment I could also see H. On the day of our wedding, it's like I went into a really calm space.
I don't know how I was so calm.
I looked back and how was I so calm?
And all I wanted was a mimosa, a croissant and to play the song, go into the chapel.
That's what I did, it was great.”
However, the documentary has also been criticized for its confusing portrayal of Meghan's father, Thomas Markle.
One royal fan on Reddit exposed what they called “Meghan's big lie,” saying that Thomas Markle was not invited to the wedding.
This was confirmed in Bower's book, and Thomas Markle himself said that he never received an invitation.
Furthermore, Harry never met Thomas, despite him being his future father-in-law.
This has led some to question Meghan's intentions and whether she deliberately excluded her father from the wedding.
Netflix also credited the agency with which Thomas Markle Sr. staged paparazzi photographs in 2018, with LA agency Coleman Rayner appearing under the section “archival materials courtesy of.”
It has been suggested that Meghan set up the photos with a photographer she'd worked with before, so that she could have an excuse not to invite her father.
The heart attack threw a wrench into the plan, but it still ended up working out the way she intended, with her father not attending the wedding.
Overall, the Netflix documentary has provided a fascinating insight into the early stages of Harry and Meghan's relationship, as well as their thoughts and feelings on their big day.
However, it has also raised questions about Meghan's relationship with her father and whether she deliberately excluded him from the wedding.
Despite this controversy, it is clear that Harry and Meghan are still very much in love and committed to each other.
