Jennifer Lopez Refuses Megan Markle’s Dinner Invitation

It seems that Megan Markle's attempts to rebuild her diminishing Hollywood friendship circle have hit a snag.

According to sources, the Duchess of Sussex attempted to invite American actor Jennifer Lopez out for dinner, but was flatly declined.

This news comes after reports that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck gave Megan and Prince Harry cold shoulders when the royal couple tried to establish a relationship with the newlyweds.

The former Suits actress and her husband once shared a double date with the Let's Get Loud hitmaker and her former fiancé Alex Rodriguez in Miami.

Insiders claim that Megan has been trying to get close to Jennifer Lopez in an attempt to build up her buddy club with Ben.

However, the wife of Ben Affleck is allegedly not interested and told Prince Harry's diva spouse to get lost.

Avid followers of the two couples noticed that Megan and Prince Harry were not included on Jennifer and Ben's wedding guest list.

Because of that, the Duke of Sussex has reportedly burned bridges by getting cozy with the on-the-floor songstress' longtime enemy, Mariah Carey, who was a guest on Megan's cringeworthy podcast series called Archetypes.

An unidentified source told the entertainment news outlet that Megan thought she and JLo really clicked on that double date in Miami, but there's been little follow-up, and JLo didn't even consider inviting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to the wedding.

In Jen's eyes, Megan is a C-lister who got lucky and can't hold a candle to her and Ben, the true king and queen of Hollywood.

This is embarrassing for Megan and a blow to Harry, who would have loved to build up his buddy club with Ben.

The same anonymous informant also shared that JLo is one of the most image-obsessed people on the planet, and the brutal truth is that it's not a good look to be hanging out with Megan right now.

She'll play nice if they run into each other, but as far as being bosom buddies, it's not gonna happen.

Meanwhile, the Regal pop star seems to be a big fan of the royal fam.

According to actor Mary Louise Parker, she and Lopez were among the slubs mingling at the 2011 BAFTA gala when William Prince of Wales and Catherine Princess of Wales attended the event.

But Parker was unable to greet the couple.

“I was shoved out of the way by Jennifer Lopez.

In her 2001 romcom The Wedding Planner, Lopez wore a very similar A-line gown with her character went to marry Justin Chambers' character in a simple courthouse ceremony.

In conclusion, it seems that Jennifer Lopez has dropped Harry and Megan from her friend circle, leaving the Duke and Duchess of Sussex out in the cold.
