Kate Middleton Sends A Bold Message To Meghan Markle With Her Latest Outfits

and 's recent trip to New York City has been the talk of the town, with multiple engagements and several outfit changes.

However, what caught everyone's attention was Meghan's bold move of not following the royal family's fashion rules.

As a senior working royal, she had to follow protocol and wear dresses and skirts to official appearances, but now that she's no longer carrying out duties on behalf of the queen, she can wear pants to public events.

Fashion expert Harriet Davy told Fabulous that Meghan's outfits conveyed a message that she is dominant and means business after stepping down as a senior royal.

She appeared in a top-to-toe tailored outfit during her visit to the One World Observatory, which was far removed from the fitted, colourful outfits she once wore as a royal.

She also wore a luxurious red cashmere coat and matching pants at Harlem's PS 123 Mahalia Jackson School, which appeared dominant.

At the Global Citizen Live Covid concert in Central Park, Meghan opted for a white Valentino mini-dress, which according to Harriet, added a fun, daring edge.

The shorter hemline, feminine retro cut, and embellishment were a representation of new beginnings.

Meanwhile, upstaged her brother-in-law and his wife with a dramatic power move.

Kate attended the premiere for the new James Bond movie, No Time To Die, last night alongside her husband , and his father and his wife , Duchess of Cornwall.

While at the much-anticipated premiere, Kate stepped out on the red carpet in a bespoke structured gold gown from Jenny Packham, which a royal expert has claimed is unequivocally the most striking and glamorous get-up she has ever worn, and sent royal fans into a frenzy.

Daniela Elza from Australiannewscorpnews.com.au compared the dress to one the Duchess had worn by the same London designer to the Spectre premiere in 2015, which she described as being a meek, shrouded and pastel frock compared to this year's equivalent of a sartorial roar.

She stated that the gold glittering get-up from this year wasn't just a dress, but a declaration of intent and a very apparent power move on Kate's part.

This frock was a very audible statement about Kate stepping in to, and owning, her power.

Fans took to Twitter to share their enthusiasm for the get-up, with many declaring phrases such as love her dress, wow and outstanding.

Kate returned to work after a glitzy night at the Royal Albert Hall wearing a power suit.

For the Northern Ireland engagement, the Duchess of Cambridge paired her outfit with a high-neck black shirt and suede heels.

The Duchess showed she meant business as she donned this dark-coloured ensemble during her first ever visit to Derry London Derry.

Kate today wore royal purple, a shade steeped in royal history and often favoured by the Queen during her outings.

With these bold fashion choices, Kate seems to be sending a powerful message to her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle.

While the Duchess of Cambridge has previously been characterised as mild, her strong ensemble signalled she meant business and appeared to position her as a future Queen.

During the Cambridges' trip to London Derry, they met nursing, medical and paramedic science students as well as staff on Ulster University's campus.

In conclusion, both and Meghan Markle have been making bold fashion statements lately.

While Meghan is conveying her dominance and independence after stepping down as a senior royal, Kate is making it clear that she is a force to be reckoned with and positioning herself as a future Queen.

It will be interesting to see what other fashion statements these two will make in the future.
