Middleton caught everyone's attention, even Daniel Craig's, in a glittering $5,240 Jenny Packham gown.

The insider claimed that the look was one Markle would not have thought up in her wildest dreams, and that she was furious with Middleton's classy look.

The Royal source pointed out that Markle often tries high fashion with mixed results, which is part of the reason she was so seething over being literally outshone by Middleton.

“‘Kate gave a masterclass in classic glam, and there's no doubt Meghan would be seething over being literally outshone,' the Palace snitch said.

Despite Harry and Meghan's bellyaching, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are closer with the Royal family than ever before.

This comes after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly struggled to stir up significant interest after their fake royal tour in New York.

Royal expert Jonathan Sacchidotti argued that regardless of how Meghan and Harry dress it up, their trip to New York was not a royal tour.

While speaking to Express, he claimed the duo were on a fake royal tour or working holiday.

He added that the pair may have been filming as part of their upcoming Netflix project, further distancing themselves from royal tour standards.

Mr Sacchidotti also commented on how much attention the duo receives and whether they can successfully capture the attention of the American audience.

He speculated that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have aimed themselves at a US market, and that it was fascinating to see them engage in that sort of fake royal tour.

It was basically just a holiday in New York, and it turns out, from the concealed microphones and the cameraman following them who wasn't known to most of the other press lot there, it seems it was a working trip.

If they were filming a reality show or something similar, it couldn't have been further from a royal tour.

The royal expert also reflected on the attention Meghan and Harry receive from Americans, claiming that they dressed it up that way, and that it was quite telling in terms of the way the Americans have perceived them.

However, he noted that there is interest in them naturally, as they are celebrities and they get an enormous amount of coverage and rely on that.

Overall, it seems that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are feeling the pressure as Kate Middleton's star continues to rise.

Only time will tell if they can successfully capture the same level of attention as the Duchess of Cambridge.
