Kate, The Great: Princess of Wales Beats Meghan Markle in Fashion Stakes

The late has long been hailed as a fashion icon, but it seems that her daughter-in-law, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, is giving her a run for her money.

In contrast, Meghan placed a distant 13th, and wasn't even the second most stylish royal, with coming in at number 10.

The study analyzed Google search data for various style-related terms for over 200 famous women around the world to establish who has the most influential style.

's fashion has an average of 41,800 monthly searches made globally, with the search term “Kate Middleton fashion” searched 9,500 times each month and “Kate Middleton style” searched 15,000 times monthly.

Trending:

Meghan had 23,880 searches each month.

But it's not just fashion where Kate is winning out.

According to New Idea, Catherine could be gearing up for a first-ever TV interview now that she's Princess of Wales.

She's reportedly been approached by several television networks to do a wide-ranging TV interview, in which producers are eager to have her open up about her life as 's wife and about her family.

A source told the publication that although Catherine is not a natural public speaker and used to be overcome by nerves in interviews, she has come through a lot in the past few years and she's stronger, more confident, and ready to have a voice of her own.

The insider claimed that is fully supportive of his wife because he was never a big fan of the royal protocol of never complaining and never explaining.

Royal expert Phil Dampier thinks that the Princess of Wales must have a lot to share or express.

Although he admits he's not privy to details about any future TV interviews, he agrees that she must feel like screaming from the rooftops about what she really thinks.

He told the publication that Catherine must be tempted to do a no-holds-barred interview, saying, “It's a big if, but if Kate did do a sit-down chat, she'd want to defend herself and her family.”

She could allegedly respond to in her claims that she made Kate cry in the lead up to her wedding to in 2018.

Dampier is certain that if an interview happens, then and his wife would fear Kate speaking out because she could directly refute some of their claims.

But he noted that she wouldn't want it to turn into a slanging match, but if Catherine were to speak out in a TV interview, then it would reportedly stop Meghan in her tracks.

The source claimed that the interview would certainly eclipse any ratings Meghan generated.
