King Charles III’s Coronation Guest List Uncertain Due to Harry’s Upcoming Memoir
Invitations for the coronation of King Charles III have yet to be issued, but the King and his advisors are working on the list of invitees.
The coronation is scheduled for May 6, 2023, and Queen Camilla will also be crowned during the service.
The royal family will be in attendance, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte confirmed, but the status of Prince Louis remains unknown.
However, it is unlikely that Meghan Markle will receive an invitation due to the upcoming memoir that her husband, Prince Harry, is publishing in January.
While the King knows some of the book's content, he is waiting for the actual tome to arrive before deciding on Harry's invitation to his father's coronation.
It hinges on whether or not Harry wrote anything negative about the King or Queen Camilla, as well as what is written about Prince William and Catherine, the Princess of Wales.

The book, titled “Spear,” starts with Diana's death, and it is expected to contain controversial content.
There is no way the publisher would want a completely bland book about how Harry loves his family and Camilla.
His book will say bad things about real people in Harry's family.
Harry has already helped Meghan tell too many lies about his family, so King Charles is determined to call out any lies as they appear.
It is doubtful that Harry will be invited to his father's big day, and if Harry isn't going, then there is no way Meghan will ever secure an invitation.
Meghan is persistent and tries to wear down the person she's dealing with, but King Charles said he'll see what Harry writes and says and then make his decision about their invitation.
The title alone is enough to know what's coming isn't good, and there is a fear that Harry might blame his family for Diana's death.
It is uncertain whether Miss Meghan will be in attendance, but time will tell.
The guest list won't be finalized until late March or early April.
Prince Harry has also stated that he won't be attending his father's coronation if Camilla is crowned at the same time.
The Prince has been harbouring a grudge against Camilla since the day she stepped into the family.
In addition, it is recently reported that Prince Harry will not return to the UK to spend the first Christmas since Queen Elizabeth II died with his family amid controversy over his upcoming memoir, “Spear.”
Sources close to the couple have revealed that relations between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the royal family are near rock bottom, and they could decline an invitation to spend the festive period with Harry's family.
Today's developments come just a day after new details were revealed about Prince Harry's nuclear memoir.
Billed as a work of raw, unflinching honesty, the controversial book will be called “Spear,” a loaded reference to his position as the younger brother of the heir to the throne.
Family members were not informed of the title in advance of the announcement yesterday, while the Spanish-language version is even more pointed, having been given the subtitle “En La Sombra,” or “In The Shadow.”
It was also announced today that King Charles has taken on the role of ceremonial head of the Royal Marines, a role previously held by his son, Prince Harry.
The sensitivity of the situation was evident as the Mail revealed that Harry was informed of his father's decision to take on the role himself before it was made public.
The Prince had been appointed Captain General by his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, in 2017 following the Duke of Edinburgh's decision to retire from public life.
In conclusion, the guest list for King Charles III's coronation remains uncertain due to the upcoming release of Prince Harry's memoir, “Spear.”
The King is waiting to see the book's content before deciding on Harry's invitation, and it is unlikely that Meghan Markle will receive an invitation.
