King Charles Tells Prince Harry Not to Bring Meghan Markle to Balmoral Castle During Queen’s Illness
As the world mourns the loss of Queen Elizabeth II, reports have emerged that Prince Harry was asked not to bring his wife Meghan Markle to Balmoral Castle as senior members of the royal family rushed to be by the Queen's side during her final moments.
It is said that Prince Charles personally called his son and asked him not to bring Meghan to Balmoral, citing that it was not appropriate for her to be there during such a difficult time.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in the country at the time of the Queen's passing, sparing Harry from having to make an emotional transatlantic dash to be with his family.
Despite the strained relationships between the Sussexes and other members of the royal family, no one would begrudge Harry the chance to mourn his beloved grandmother, with whom he had always shared a close and loving relationship.
However, tensions arose when the Sussexes announced that they would both be travelling to Balmoral.
Charles reportedly made it very clear that Meghan would not be welcome, pointing out that even Kate Middleton was not attending and that only the closest family members should be present.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Harry was not initially summoned to Balmoral like his brother William due to constitutional reasons.
Additionally, the announcement of Meghan's upcoming tell-all book about the royal family has caused some discomfort among the senior royals.
During his first address to the nation as monarch, King Charles bestowed the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales upon his eldest son William and his wife Kate Middleton.
He expressed his confidence that they would continue to inspire and lead the national conversation, bringing important issues to the forefront.
While expressing his love for Harry and Meghan, King Charles appeared slightly uncomfortable discussing his distant son.
However, body language expert Adrienne Carter noted that the new king showed evident emotion when speaking of his late mother and appeared to be delivering his speech strongly.
The short speech was broadcast on TV and streamed at St. Paul's Cathedral as part of a remembrance service for the Queen, attended by an impressive 2,000 people, including well-known politicians and members of the public.
However, no members of the royal family were present.
As the nation mourns the loss of their beloved monarch, tensions within the royal family continue to simmer.
The decision not to invite Meghan to Balmoral has only added to the already strained relationships between the Sussexes and other members of the royal family.
Only time will tell if these divisions can be healed, or if they will continue to deepen.
