Lady Louise Windsor Drives Prince Philip’s Carriage at Royal Windsor Horse Show
Lady Louise Windsor, the 17-year-old granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, paid a touching tribute to her late grandfather, Prince Philip, at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on Sunday.
The young royal drove the carriage left by the Duke of Edinburgh after his passing earlier this year.
Appearing in country chic attire with a green hat and matching jacket, Lady Louise participated in the Champagne Laurent Perrier meet of the British Driving Society in Windsor.
She is a keen carriage driver and shared a close bond with her grandfather, who was synonymous with carriage driving.
Lady Louise has competed in the competition before, achieving third place at the event in 2019, where she was cheered on by the late Duke.
She also took part in the day's activities by riding horses and carriages through the show.

The teenager appeared to be in great spirits, grinning while riding in a carriage while holding a whip in one hand.
The four-wheeled carriage is believed to be the one owned by Prince Philip, which was included in his funeral procession earlier this year.
Made of aluminium and steel, the carriage was built to the Duke's specifications eight years ago, drawing on his knowledge of Federation Equestrian International Driving.
Reports suggest that Lady Louise inherited the carriage after the Duke's passing, although this has not been confirmed by Buckingham Palace.
The young royal was joined by her mother, Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, and her grandmother, the Queen, who returned for a fourth day to enjoy the event.
The Queen, known for her lifelong love of horses, was photographed grinning while sitting in her secluded area at the show.
The 95-year-old monarch was previously spotted strolling around the event wearing a large overcoat, headscarf, and sunglasses.
Today marks the annual horse show's final day since it opened on Thursday.
The Sovereign looked relaxed during this morning's outing, with her hair tucked under a headscarf in case of a spot of rain.
Her Majesty donned a buttoned grey overcoat which covered a dress with leather brogues in a shade of chestnut.
The green and blue scarf offered a pop of colour to her weather-beating outfit.
She was also wearing a pair of oval-shaped sunglasses.
The horse show has long been one of the Queen's favourite events, and this year, after it was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, the 95-year-old monarch is a regular fixture at the event, which is now in its 77th year and attracts well-heeled visitors from all over the world.
