Less Than 1 Million People Watched Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix Documentary Trailer in 10 Hours
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, released the official trailer of their upcoming Netflix documentary, but it seems that the public is not impressed.
In the first 10 hours since its release, less than one million people watched the trailer on YouTube.
Additionally, more than 48,000 people disliked the video, with some critics claiming that the dislike button was disabled.
Despite the low viewership, more than 5,000 people commented on the trailer, with the majority of them mocking the Sussexes.
One user commented, “I've never seen such a public attempt at privacy.”
Others praised Netflix for keeping the comments section open.

However, the couple received strong criticism for releasing the trailer while Prince William and Princess Catherine are visiting the US.
One person responded, “Something to miss.
I think I have paint to watch dry.
It will have more integrity.”
Another commented, “You guys left.
Move on with your lives already.
And stop hurting the family.”
A third person even said they would cancel their Netflix membership.
They felt the show is exploiting the death of her majesty and slated it as a lack of credibility and class.
Piers Morgan, a British journalist and television personality, also had a furious outburst over the trailer for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new Netflix series.
He branded them repulsive hypocrites and tweeted, “Imagine bleating about privacy, then doing a kiss and tell reality series about your private lives.
Then imagine preaching compassion as you trash your family again.
Then imagine releasing the first trailer deliberately to ruin your brother's big trip to America.
Repulsive hypocrites.”
Samantha Markle, Meghan Markle's estranged half-sister, also weighed in on the Duke's comment.
She appeared on a panel with Royal Biographer Tom Bauer and criticised Harry and Meghan's Netflix promo as atrocious and disconnected from reality.
In the teaser, Harry says, “I had to do everything I could to protect my family.”
Samantha responded by saying, “When I got out the dictionary, I couldn't find the way they treated the royal family or our family anywhere in the dictionary under protection.
I thought, what's he talking about?
This is not protection.”
Samantha then went on to criticise the couple's Netflix promo as a bad slice of life commercial that is disconnected from reality.
She said, “It's quite sad it's been shocking for all of us.”
Richard Eden, a British journalist, also revealed that friends of Prince William and Catherine were sickened by the way the couple has been portrayed in the trailer for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's series.
Richard said that Harry and Meghan deliberately aimed to upstage his older brother and his wife, who are currently in the US visiting Boston ahead of William's glitzy Earthshot Prize reception.
He added, “I was appalled when I watched this trailer.
Frankly, it's everything we feared.
We've seen the friends of Prince William and Catherine today, and they've been frankly sickened by what's appeared in the video.
