Marquess of Colmondeley Appointed as King’s Lord-in-Waiting

The Marquess of Colmondeley, David Roxevidge, has been offered a new role in the royal court by King Charles.

According to reports by the UK Express, the Marquess, who is a neighbor to Prince William and Princess Catherine, will now serve as the King's Lord-in-waiting after having been replaced as Lord Great Chamberlain last year.

This new position will require him to attend significant state and royal occasions, as well as represent the monarch at official events when called upon.

Additionally, the Marchioness has a familial connection to the monarchy, as her grandmother Lady Rose Lambert served as a bridesmaid at Queen Elizabeth's wedding in 1947.
