Meghan and Harry Banned from Photographing Lilibet’s Meeting with the Queen

The Queen has reportedly banned and from having a photographer present when she met her great-granddaughter, , for the first time.

According to The Sun, , who just celebrated her first birthday, was introduced to the Queen last Thursday.

The Sussexes named their daughter after her great-grandmother's childhood nickname.

Harry and Meghan were eager to bring a photographer to capture the pair's first face-to-face meeting with the Queen at Windsor Castle.

However, their request was refused, and they returned to California without a snap.

Members of the Royal Family were reportedly concerned that pictures taken by the couple's photographer could be shared with US television networks.

An insider told The Sun that Harry and Meghan wanted their photographer to capture the moment Lilibet met the Queen, but they were told it was a private family meeting.

The couple's absence from the limelight during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations was noticeable.

They were spotted sitting several rows behind and during Friday's service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral.

Harry and Meghan were kept at arm's length by the royals during the celebrations and left without any public appearances alongside the Queen, Charles, , William, or Kate.

They reportedly left the UK prior to the conclusion of the final events marking the Queen's 70 years on the throne.

The couple's swift exit before the end of the Jubilee celebrations came as experts claimed Harry was struggling to accept his new second-row royal role.

Tensions have been running high between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family since the pair's Oprah interview last year, in which they made allegations of racism, and Meghan spoke openly about her fractured relationship with .

This weekend marked Harry and Meghan's first public appearance alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge since moving to the US two years ago.

In other news, experts believe is finally coming to terms with the deep unhappiness he seems to be experiencing after realizing how much he misses his old life.
