Meghan and Harry Refuse King Charles’ Request for Video Call on His Birthday
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, reportedly left King Charles feeling sad on his 74th birthday.
According to a royal source, the new monarch wanted to go on FaceTime with Lilibet and Archie on November 14th, but the couple refused to facilitate the video call.
The reason behind the refusal was allegedly due to King Charles' recent request to the British Parliament to amend the law, allowing two more of his siblings to act on his behalf in his absence.
The California-based royal couple apparently refused to let their children speak to the king because of this.
This incident has caused a rift between the Sussexes and King Charles, with the monarch banning all contact with Harry and Meghan.
The couple's decision to refuse the video call has not gone down well with the new monarch, who is said to be disappointed.

In his first Christmas Day speech as monarch, King Charles III did not mention Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The 74-year-old sovereign spoke from the heart on December 25th, becoming the latest British royal to spread holiday cheer throughout the Commonwealth, and the first male monarch to do so in nearly 70 years.
He honoured Prince William and Princess Kate's work as senior royals and devoted time to honour his late mother's legacy.
Charles said in his speech that he was reminded of the deeply touching letters, cards, and messages which so many people had sent him and his wife.
He thanked everyone for the love and sympathy they had shown their whole family.
He also acknowledged that Christmas is a particularly poignant time for all of those who have lost loved ones.
The holiday address came weeks after the Sussex couple opened up about their royal exit in the Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan.
During the finale, Harry confessed that he had a difficult time reuniting with Charles and Prince William for Grandfather Prince Philip's funeral in April 2021.
The spare author went on to discuss whether he thought he and his family could repair their fractured bond, stating that he had made peace with the fact that they were probably never going to get genuine accountability or a genuine apology.
He said that he and his wife were focused on what's coming next.
This incident has caused a stir among royal watchers and fans, with many expressing their disappointment at the situation.
It remains to be seen whether Harry and Meghan will be able to repair their relationship with King Charles, but for now, it seems that the rift between them is only growing wider.
