Meghan Bakes Lemon Cake for Archie’s Fourth Birthday as Prince Harry Attends King Charles’ Coronation
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son, Archie, celebrated his fourth birthday with a low-key party at their £11 million mansion in Montecito, California.
According to sources close to the couple, the party was a private celebration, with no celebrities in attendance.
Meghan reportedly baked a lemon cake for the occasion using fruit from their garden, although it was pointed out that lemons are not ripe to pick this time of year.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry attended King Charles' coronation in the UK, but he was determined to make it back in time to spend part of Archie's birthday with him.
The Duke of Sussex arrived at Los Angeles International at around 7.30pm local time, just in time for the celebration.
Despite earlier reports that celebrities would be attending Archie's birthday party, it seems that the only guests were family and close friends.

A friend of the couple, photographer Misan Harriman, shared an image of Archie with his hand on a portrait of Princess Diana, which was widely circulated on social media.
While Prince Harry was unable to attend the family lunch at Buckingham Palace following the coronation, it is understood that an invitation had been extended to him.
However, he chose to return to California to celebrate Archie's birthday instead.
The King raised a glass to toast his absent grandchildren, including Archie, as well as those present on the big day.
Prince William also congratulated his father on such a momentous day, and Charles thanked everyone who had worked hard to make the day special.
The King raised a glass to his three grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, who were among the stars of the show and carried out their public appearances with aplomb.
He also made a point of toasting those who were not there, including his other grandson, Archie.
Despite the ongoing acrimony between Harry and the royal family, it was a poignant moment for Charles, who has barely seen his grandson since he moved to the US.
While most members of the royal family were relieved that Harry did not attend the lunch, the King seemed genuinely upset and disappointed.
Overall, it was a happy occasion for Archie, who enjoyed a quiet birthday celebration with his family and friends.
The lemon cake baked by Meghan was no doubt a delicious treat, and the touching tribute to Princess Diana was a reminder of the love and affection that the family shares.
Despite the distance between them, Prince Harry and his family were able to come together to celebrate this special day.
