Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Miss Out on Oscars 2023

The 2023 Oscars kicked off at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with host Jimmy Kimmel making a joke about wanting to feel safe.

He also joked that if any celebrities got mad at a joke, it wouldn't be easy for them to “get jiggy with it.”

Kimmel then pointed out actors such as Michael B. Jordan, Andrew Garfield, and Michelle Yeoh would protect him.

Chris Rock also voiced his frustration at some of the allegations made by Meghan Markle against the Royal Family since she and Prince Harry stepped down in 2020.

While Meghan and Harry's supporters were expecting the couple to show up at the Oscars, they were nowhere to be seen.

Hollywood stars arrived at the Oscars on Sunday in shimmering column dresses, jewel-toned gowns, and structured and voluminous attire, flaunting bold choices that stood out on the novel champagne-colored carpet ensconced under a tent.

Fans of the British Royal Family mocked Meghan and Harry, claiming that they had been sidelined by the organizers.

A source close to the situation said, “There have been discussions about the Duchess attending, and it now looks as though that will happen.
