Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are reportedly being frozen out of Hollywood, according to commentator Cara Kennedy.

Despite signing multi-million dollar deals with streaming giants Netflix and Spotify after their departure from the royal family in 2020, the couple is allegedly being excluded from red carpet events in the US.

Kennedy claimed in The Spectator that one LA source told her the reason for their exclusion is that organizers fear the media attention would be solely on them, taking away from the event or people there to celebrate.

She added that another reason the Sussexes have been sidelined is that they lack the charisma and dedication needed to be A-list celebrities.

The couple's tendency to share private details of royal family relations has also been criticized since stepping down from senior royal duties.

In a 2021 interview with , Meghan accused an unnamed member of the firm of asking what color her son 's skin would be before he was born, sparking tensions between the Duchess and her in-laws.

Moreover, is set to release a memoir before the end of the year, which he said will contain a first-hand account of his life that's accurate and wholly truthful.

It is predicted that the contents of the memoir will further strain tensions within the royal family.

Kennedy said, “You and your partner can buy a mansion in the right zip code, hang out with the right people and say the right things at the right charity events, but that doesn't make you a Hollywood power couple.

Modern-day stardom is about more than name recognition.

It takes charisma, dedication and charm.

For all their striving, and just don't have it.”

Since stepping down from senior royal duties, the Sussexes have only returned to the UK on a handful of occasions, most recently for a charity event that ended up being a longer trip than planned due to the death of the Queen on September 8.

The Queen was reportedly hurt and exhausted by Prince Harry and 's decision to quit royal life and the ensuing drama they caused.

Royal scribe Katie Nicholl writes in her upcoming book, The New Royals, 's Legacy and the Future of the Crown, via Vanity Fair, that the late monarch confided to a friend that she was exhausted by the turmoil of their decision.

She lamented, “I don't know, I don't care, and I don't want to think about it anymore.”

Nicholl also noted that it was a source of sadness to the Queen that she got to see so little of and and that Harry and Meghan were not able to join her for a weekend at Balmoral in August, when the Queen used to host a sleepover for all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The monarch ended up seeing Archie, three, and her namesake, , one, a handful of times.

After the Queen's passing, Harry released a heartfelt statement expressing happiness that she got to hug her beloved great-grandchildren.

Despite their struggles in Hollywood, the couple has been focusing on their family life in Montecito, California, where they live with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

In conclusion, it seems that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are facing difficulties in their quest to become Hollywood powerhouses.

Their tendency to share private details of royal family relations and lack of charisma and dedication may be contributing factors.

Meanwhile, tensions within the royal family continue to strain as Harry prepares to release a memoir before the end of the year.

Despite all this, the couple remains focused on their family life in California.
