Meghan Markle Congratulates Elton John on Farewell Tour, While New Book Claims Harry and Meghan’s Marriage Will End in Tears
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, sent a special video greeting to Sir Elton John before his Los Angeles performance at Dodger Stadium on Sunday night.
In the video, Meghan congratulated the iconic musician on his farewell tour, which is set to conclude in 2023.
The video greeting was published online and has since gone viral.
However, while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may be celebrating Elton John's farewell tour, a new book claims that their own union will end in tears.
Investigative journalist Tom Bauer's book, Revenge, Meghan, Harry, and the Conflict Between the Windsors, alleges that a royal family aide predicted the couple's marriage would not last.
Lady Susan Hussey, a lady-in-waiting to Queen Elizabeth II since the 1960s, allegedly made the remarks at a luncheon with theatre executives prior to the couple's May 2018 nuptials.

According to Bauer's book, Lady Susan took the future of the pair seriously as they discussed the prospect that Meghan would develop ties to the National Theatre after the wedding.
She is claimed to have said, “That will all end in tears.
You have my word.”
Lady Susan, 83, was a member of the group of palace courtiers asked to assist Markle in adjusting to life as a member of the royal family.
The book claims that Lady Susan's statement was not the only warning sign that the couple's union was doomed to fail.
Prince Harry's upcoming memoir, titled Spare, has also raised eyebrows among his close friends.
According to Nick Bullen, editor-in-chief of True Royalty TV, the Duke of Sussex has been chatting to pals from his youth in order to “drudge up” some of the most significant memories from years ago, including some of the darker and more difficult ones.
While it is unclear whether Harry intends to incorporate these memories in his rumoured Netflix docuseries or impending memoir, some have questioned why he is revisiting old memories.
Mr Bullen told Us Weekly that people who are closest to Harry in the UK or who were close to him in the past are a little worried about how far he's going.
Despite the controversy surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, they continue to make charitable donations and pursue their work with Archewell Productions.
In October, Prince Harry donated £1.5 million to Centibale, the organisation he co-founded in 2006 to aid vulnerable children affected by AIDS or HIV.
He also announced a donation of £300,000 to one of his patronages, WellChild, which supports children with life-limiting illnesses.
The Sussexes struck a deal with Netflix in 2020, and it is anticipated that they would both star in one of their company's docuseries.
While Netflix and Archewell Productions have not yet made an official announcement about this programme, Meghan dropped a few hints in recent interviews.
In an interview with New York magazine The Cut, Meghan claimed that the one aspect of her life she hasn't yet been able to discuss is her romance with Harry.
When asked by Alison P. Davis of the Journal if she and the Duke were making a documentary on their relationship, Meghan gave an evasive response, saying, “What's so hilarious is I'm not trying to be cagey.
I never read the news.
I am therefore unsure of what is verified.”
In an interview that appeared in the October issue of Variety magazine, Meghan was asked what the public can anticipate from the Liz Garbus-directed docuseries.
While she did not provide any specific details, Meghan hinted that the series will focus on issues that are important to her and Harry.
In conclusion, while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may be facing criticism and controversy, they continue to pursue their philanthropic work and entertainment ventures.
Meghan's video greeting to Elton John shows that they are still able to maintain positive relationships with their celebrity friends, while Harry's memoir and Netflix docuseries have generated significant buzz in the media.
Only time will tell whether their union will indeed end in tears, as some predict, or whether they will continue to defy expectations and make a positive impact on the world.
