Meghan Markle Faces Backlash from Fans After Interview with Ellen DeGeneres
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has come under fire from her own fans after a recent interview with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres left them scratching their heads.
The interview choice has caused unease among her supporters, with some questioning why she would choose to appear on the show given DeGeneres' recent bullying scandal.
Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie, hosts of the Royally Obsessed podcast and self-proclaimed fans of the Sussexes, expressed their confusion over the interview.
“I do think, after talking about it with you, it is a question mark.
What a choice,” Bowie said.
“We obviously love Harry and Meghan.

But I think it was definitely an interesting choice and one we will have to ruminate on more I guess in the coming weeks.”
Meghan and Prince Harry have been friends with DeGeneres for some time, with the TV host defending the couple against media scrutiny in the past.
However, DeGeneres was accused of creating a toxic workplace environment earlier this year, with ex-employees alleging that she was cold, demeaning, and a nightmare to work with.
DeGeneres opened her current and final season with an apology, admitting that things happened on her show that never should have happened.
This scandal has made Meghan's decision to appear on the show even more controversial, especially considering the recent allegations of bullying against her.
Shortly before Meghan and Harry's bombshell interview with Oprah earlier this year, royal aides filed a bullying complaint against Meghan.
The claims were based on a 2018 email from former Sussex Communications director Jason Knauf, which launched a Buckingham Palace inquiry into the incident.
However, the Sussexes denied the allegations, calling them a “calculated smear campaign” by Buckingham Palace.
The bullying claim was reportedly rescinded this fall, but during the first part of the BBC Royal documentary, Meghan's lawyer Jenny Affia appeared with the Duchess's permission to once again disavow the claims.
“This narrative that no one could work for the Duchess of Sussex, that she was too difficult or demanding a boss, and that everyone had to leave, is just not true,” Affia said.
Despite the controversy surrounding Meghan's recent interview choices, some experts believe that it makes sense for her to appear on shows like Ellen.
Howard Breuer, CEO of Newsroom PR, said that Meghan and Harry have already broken the mold by speaking out about their struggles and that her appearance on the show is “to color outside the lines.”
However, some fans and supporters like Peter Andre, the Mysterious Girl singer, are finding it difficult to continue supporting the couple.
In his column for New Magazine, Andre wrote, “It's a tough one with Meghan and Prince Harry.
I've always stuck up for them, but I do think some of the choices that are being made are not great.
I want to support them but they're making it quite difficult for people.”
In conclusion, Meghan Markle's decision to appear on Ellen DeGeneres' show has caused controversy among her own fans, especially given DeGeneres' recent bullying scandal.
However, some experts believe that it makes sense for Meghan to speak out about her struggles and color outside the lines.
Despite this, some fans are finding it difficult to continue supporting the couple given the recent allegations of bullying against Meghan and their controversial interview choices.
