Meghan Markle Fights with Royals at Queen’s Funeral over Oprah Interview

During the funeral, there was little interaction between the Sussexes and the rest of the family, and Royal expert Tom Bower believes the Sussexes will go back to California fuming after receiving very little sympathy from the Royals following the Queen's death.

Bower believes that Meghan and Harry looked quite angry during the funeral because they were not being afforded the respect they think they deserve.

He also believes that notions of reconciliation are nonsense because the couple has said such terrible things in the past.

Bower stated, “There is just no grounds for sympathy unless the two of them, the Sussexes, apologize.”

Despite the tension, and Meghan Markle appeared outside Windsor Castle alongside and Kate to greet well-wishers and see people's tributes to their grandmother.

The two couples exchanged words and appeared to be getting along, bringing back memories of the “Fab Four” before the Sussexes' acrimonious split from the Royals in 2020.

During the Queen's funeral, Harry and William stood next to each other for the processions, but there was no eye contact and little interaction between them.

The sight was reminiscent of the St Paul's Cathedral Thanksgiving service during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee several months previous, where the pair did not communicate at all.

The Sussexes' invitation to a reception attended by world leaders on the Sunday evening was reportedly rescinded, indicating that relations remained frosty.

Royal expert Tom Bower believes that Meghan and Harry will return to Montecito fuming, and the autobiography of Prince Harry will soon be dug out and released.

It remains to be seen whether the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family will be able to reconcile their differences.

However, it is clear that the tension between the two parties has not dissipated, and there may be more drama to come.
