Meghan Markle Ignores Father’s Gift on Her 40th Birthday

Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, has claimed that his daughter ignored the gift he sent her for her 40th birthday last year.

Mr. Markle revealed that he sent Meghan a bouquet of roses, which contained two yellow roses as a tribute to her two children, Archie and Lilibet.

However, he did not receive any acknowledgement or response from his daughter.

Speaking to GB News, Mr. Markle said, “I wished her a happy birthday and brighter days ahead, but I've not heard back.”

This revelation comes as Meghan celebrates her 41st birthday today, and she is expected to be celebrating the occasion privately.

Meghan and her father have reportedly not seen each other since before the royal wedding in 2018, and a rift has developed between them.

Mr. Markle is currently recovering after suffering a stroke earlier this year.

He was rushed to hospital in May after losing his speech and stayed there for five nights.

After being discharged, Mr. Markle expressed his gratitude towards the doctors and nurses who saved his life.

However, Meghan's sister, Samantha Markle, criticized the Duchess for negligence, stating that Meghan never contacted their father to work things out.

In his new book, royal author Bower has claimed that Prince Charles and the Queen were left confused about Meghan's rift with her father and wanted her to reconcile with him.

The Duke of Sussex reportedly told Charles that Meghan did not reach out to her dad due to her phone being compromised, but Charles was left irritated with the excuses.

Bower continued, “The inconsistencies of Meghan's excuses not only irritated Charles but perhaps also the Queen.”

Earlier, Meghan refused to mend her rift with her father, even after insistence from Prince Charles.

It is unclear whether Meghan will acknowledge her father's gift this year or if the rift between them will ever be mended.

However, Meghan's relationship with her father has been under scrutiny since he slammed the royal family and the couple for outdated traditions in the lead up to her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry.
