Meghan Markle Makes First Public Appearance Since Birth of Archie at Trooping the Colour Celebrations

The Trooping the Colour celebrations have begun, and the Royal Family is out in full force.

The event, which marks the Queen's official birthday, sees 1,400 troops, 400 musicians, and 200 horses march in a parade.

The Queen, who turned 93 in April, will be inspecting the lines of Guardsmen in their scarlet tunics and bearskins.

Duchess has made her first public appearance since giving birth to her son, , just four weeks ago.

She arrived at Buckingham Palace in the back of a dark blue Range Rover alongside .

The new parents did not bring their son to the annual event, as Meghan was eager to get back to work as soon as possible.

Meghan looked radiant as she smiled and waved to the crowds before being whisked away in a carriage with to join the rest of the Royal Family.

Her sister-in-law, Duchess Kate, was also seen arriving with , who donned his ceremonial uniform for the Irish Guards.

Kate looked stunning in a yellow dress and an elegant hat.

The masked bands of the Household Division provided musical backing during the day, and the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery took part in the parade.

Following the parade, they fired a 41-gun salute in Green Park to mark the Queen's official birthday.

The Duke of Edinburgh, who turns 98 on Monday, has retired from official public duties and is not expected to attend.

However, the rest of the Royal Family gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the RAF fly past.

It's worth noting that Kate, 37, returned to public engagements just five weeks after giving birth to in 2013.

Meghan, who is 37 years old, had expressed her eagerness to get back to work as soon as possible.
