Meghan Markle May Cancel UK Return for Platinum Jubilee Following Negative Publicity
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is reportedly considering pulling out of her planned UK return for the Platinum Jubilee due to negative publicity.
Royal expert Neil Sean claims that Meghan is aware that the public in London and surrounding areas are not too keen on her return, and the bad publicity from her visit to Texas may be a deciding factor.
Mr Sean notes that this has happened before, with Prince Harry returning for the unveiling of his late mother's statue but then deciding to stay away for security reasons during Prince Philip's memorial service.
During her visit to Texas, Meghan laid flowers at a memorial for the 19 children and two teachers killed in a school shooting.
She visited in a personal capacity as a mother to offer her condolences and support to the community in grief.
However, Meghan's visit has renewed pressure for her to reconcile with her father, Thomas Markle.

But one royal expert claims a reunion is unlikely, as Meghan hasn't released any statement and the bridge between them is burned.
Meanwhile, Richard Eden from the Daily Mail suggests that Harry and Meghan may be facing trouble with their multi-million dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify.
He notes that Meghan's recent appearances at polo matches may indicate that all is not well, and the couple may be scrambling to maintain their star status.
Despite these challenges, Meghan and Harry have invested a lot of hope in their projects, such as developing Pearl and Harry's memoir.
It remains to be seen whether Meghan will ultimately decide to cancel her UK return for the Platinum Jubilee.
