Meghan Markle Plans to Outshine Catherine with Thousands in Styling

Reports have emerged that Meghan Markle plans to invest thousands of dollars in her styling to outshine Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge.

This is not the first time that the former actress has spent an absurd amount of money to outdo the Princess of Wales.

Last July, Meghan and Harry visited New York City to commemorate Nelson Mandela International Day.

During the evening, the couple went to an exclusive restaurant for a luxurious dinner, where Meghan stole all eyes in a look almost identical to the one worn by Catherine during the Top Gun Maverick movie premiere in London a few weeks earlier.

To outshine Catherine, Meghan chose a $42,400 look.

The Princess of Wales opted for Roland Marrette's signature two-tone lambol dress, Alexander McQueen's beetle box bag, suede pumps from a 2016 collection by Prada, and earrings from Robinson Pellum's Tsar collection, which totaled almost $18,000.

Meghan topped this look by opting for a styling that exceeds $44,500.

Meghan spent that fortune to outshine her sister-in-law with an identical outfit for a romantic dinner with Harry.

She chose the Vicky jumpsuit by Gabriella Hurst, bow tie sandals by Aquazzura, the Puccini Geraccio bag by Bottega Veneta, the mini basal tennis gold bracelet by Jennifer Meyer, and two Chiffron rings.

To this must be added the love bracelet by Cartier and the Tank Fonce gold watch by the same firm, giving a total of $45,180.

An unnamed source told Globe that Markle decided to work out non-stop and eat only healthy meals after seeing Catherine's weight loss.

Meghan has always been very jealous of Kate's figure and she copies her style as often as she can.

Still, it's hard for her to pull off certain looks because Kate's at least a couple of sizes smaller and ultra skinny, the source said.

The source added that Markle must also be jealous of the way the Princess of Wales wears her clothes and how she once placed a coat on her shoulders.

In order to achieve a desired weight, Markle has allegedly been working with an instructor who's helping her with her workouts.

She does Pilates and yoga regularly.

According to royal expert Tom Bauer, Catherine played a role in preventing Meghan Markle from attending King Charles's coronation.

Bauer claims that the Princess of Wales wouldn't have her there under any circumstances.

Additionally, Bauer alleges that Catherine warned Markle that if she did attend the ceremony, she'd have to sit at the back.

Likewise, Meghan likely doesn't want to face Catherine and Camilla, who are both higher in rank than she is.

Also, Meghan doesn't want to curtsy the two women she and Harry have thrown under the metaphorical bus.

Why?

Because she feels she's superior to them.

Bauer describes Prince Harry's decision to attend the coronation as an ugly compromise, but adds that his presence is constitutionally important.

Bauer believes that should something happen to Prince William and his children, then King Harry would ascend to the throne after King Charles.

Regarding Prince Harry's appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony, Bauer believes that allowing Harry on the balcony would mean having Prince Andrew on the balcony as well, which would not be a good start to King Charles' reign.

In conclusion, it seems that Meghan Markle is determined to outshine Catherine with thousands of dollars in styling.

She has a history of investing large sums of money to look better than the Princess of Wales.

While she won't be attending King Charles's coronation, her husband will be present, even though it's an ugly compromise.

It remains to be seen if Meghan will continue to try and outdo Catherine in the future.
