Meghan Markle Set to Receive Princess Diana’s Precious Watch

Reports have been circulating that American actress Meghan Markle is leaving the legal TV drama Suits and preparing to move to Britain with her dogs.

But what many people are now interested in is the news that the 36-year-old is poised to receive Princess Diana's precious 18-carat yellow gold Cartier Tank Francaise watch, a gift from her father Edward Spencer.

The watch was one of Diana's favorites and held great sentimental value to her.

After her death in 1997, Princess William and Harry requested the watch and her sapphire engagement ring for safekeeping.

The brothers agreed that whoever proposed first would have the engagement ring, suggesting that Harry ended up with the watch.

It is thought likely that Meghan will receive Diana's watch because it is her favorite model.

Meghan bought herself the two-tone version of the watch for £5,000 when Suits was given a third season.
