Meghan Markle Turns Into b*tt of Jokes After Legal Victory

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, was the subject of a joke on the BBC magazine show, Have I Got News For You, last night.

Clive Myrie, the new host of the show, was full of witty jokes, including reflecting on Meghan Markle's legal win this week.

The panel show, Looking Back at the Week That Just Happened, was full of its usual jokes about politicians, royals, and the news.

This week, the presenters were discussing Meghan's latest victory in her court battle against the Mail on Sunday.

The round started with a picture of the Duchess of Sussex, as the teams had to guess what the news story was.

Camilla Long guessed that it must be the case against the Mail on Sunday, which the Duchess of Sussex has won the latest round.

They found in her favour, saying the paper had been wrong to print half of a letter she'd sent to her father.

Clive Myrie replied, “Yes, Camilla, you're absolutely right.

The three judges, including Lord Justice, ruled in favour of Meghan.”

He further added that the contents of the letter were personal, private, and not matters of legitimate public interest.

He later added, “Yes, this is Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, who has won her legal battle against the Mail on Sunday.

The ruling means that Meghan, once again, will be free to continue to invade her own privacy.”

Meghan wasn't the only source of jokes during the BBC show, as the group discussed the new Omicron Covid variant.

Meanwhile, Royal expert Katie Nicholl said that Prince William and Kate Middleton will send Christmas gifts to Archie and Lilibet despite their rift with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to spend the festive season in California while Prince William and Kate Middleton attend Christmas at Sandringham with the Queen.

magazine, Royal expert Katie Nicholl said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge still want to keep their Christmas traditions going.

When asked if they would be sending Archie and Lilibet presents, Katie said, “Yes, of course.

They give gifts to the whole family, and that includes all their nieces and nephews.”

That said, William and Kate still haven't met baby Lilibet, who was born in Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in July.

Earlier this year, Prince Harry revealed that the Queen had sent Archie a waffle maker for Christmas in 2020.

During his appearance on James Corden's The Late Late Show, the Duke of Sussex said, “Interestingly, my grandmother asked us what Archie wanted for Christmas, and Meg said a waffle maker.

Meg makes up a beautiful organic mix, in the waffle maker, flip it, out it comes, he loves it.

Archie literally wakes up in the morning and says waffle.”

Last week, it was reported that the Queen was looking forward to Christmas and her traditional family festive get-together at her Norfolk estate of Sandringham.

It is understood the Queen will travel to Sandringham on or around Friday, December 17.

Christmas guests will include Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall as well as William, Kate, and their children, and Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex, and their children.

It has been claimed that Harry and Meghan were invited to join the rest of the family on what will be the Queen's first Christmas since the death of her beloved husband Prince Philip.

However, a source told Page Six, “There's a lot that goes into the logistics and the planning of the family Christmas, so of course, staff know that Harry and Meghan are not coming.

If they were, they would have communicated it to their family by now.
