Meghan Markle’s Podcast Losing Popularity in the US, According to Royal Expert

's latest episode of her podcast Archetypes has been discussed by royal expert Kinsey Schofield, who claims that the Duchess of Sussex is losing popularity in the US.

In an interview with GB News Breakfast reporters Rosie Wright and Paul Hawkins, Schofield revealed that Meghan's podcast is being beaten by Kim Kardashian in the Spotify charts.

When asked about Meghan's strategy to reset the narrative and define herself as who she wants to be seen as, Schofield responded that it is not working in the States.

“I mean, I have to be honest with you, if you look at the numbers, her podcast, that very first episode, it blew up.

I think that people were very curious, but lately Kim Kardashian is beating her on the Spotify charts.

There's less and less interest in her, and I think American media has noticed this new direction in the narrative,” she said.

Schofield also mentioned that does not understand the difference between a stereotype and an archetype, and that she only chose archetypes for her podcast because it fits with her brand of Archwell.

“In Meghan's mind, she created the word archetypes as it's a combination of Archwell and stereotypes.

That was like her reasoning for it,” she added.

According to Schofield, Spotify had been trying to get Markle and to produce something for almost two years after their holiday special in 2020 fell behind whale noises.

Markle has released seven episodes so far, covering Ambition, Diva, Singleton, Dragon Lady, Crazy, The Bimbo, and Angry Black Woman archetypes.

However, Schofield believes that Meghan might believe these seven archetypes are holding women back, but we don't live in the 50s and 60s where the female s** was purely there to look pretty and prop men up.

In addition to the podcast, Markle's popularity in the US has also taken a hit due to her low viewing figures.

Expert Daniela Elsa highlighted the stark contrast of attendees between an event just four years ago and the upcoming Power of Women event, where Meghan is set to speak to a crowd of roughly 2,500 people at Marriott downtown in Indianapolis, United States.

Elsa wrote for news.com.au, “When floaters took to the stage, the Women's Fund event was held at an indoor arena and to a sold-out audience of 13,000.

In Meghan, the largest capacity of a conference space at the Indianapolis Marriott downtown is 2,500.”

She added that Meghan did not have the pull of a big guest, citing the water and sewer distributors of America hosting their get-together at a hotel of the same chain.

Despite being featured on the front page of Variety, a recent upload from the publication featuring Meghan only racked up 213,000 views, while previous front page star Anna de Armas recorded 279,000 views.

Elsa concluded that the expectations about what sort of crowd Meghan will pull are not even vaguely in the same ballpark or even indoor arena as that of Michelle Obama, who spoke at the Women's Fund event in 2018 to a sold-out audience of 13,000.

In conclusion, it seems that Meghan Markle's popularity in the US is declining, with her podcast losing out to Kim Kardashian and her low viewing figures at events.

While she may be trying to reset the narrative and define herself as who she wants to be seen as, it appears that her efforts are not resonating with the American audience.
