Meghan Markle’s Relationship with Rory McIlroy Revealed in Bombshell New Biography

A new biography on the Duchess of Sussex, released today, has laid bare her relationship with top golfer Rory McIlroy.

The book, entitled Revenge, sees author Tom Bower devote an entire chapter to McIlroy, detailing how Markle used their relationship to promote her profile around the world.

Bower also claims that Markle actively encouraged the media to publish details about their close relationship and occasionally set up paparazzi photos or leaked information to the press.

The book also publishes Markle's thoughts on McIlroy, which she penned on her TIG website before it was deleted ahead of her wedding to in 2018.

In her post, Markle gushed about McIlroy, describing him as a force who has the propensity to work hard and play hard.

She also revealed that he drank Opus One, a wine that can cost over 400 euros a bottle, and praised his character as real and honest.

According to the book, Markle had lobbied hard to be invited to the One Young World Conference in Dublin, which she used as leverage to raise her profile.

Bauer writes that she asked Mison Harriman, an Anglo-Nigerian photographer, for a favor to secure her first platform.

Harriman's friend, tennis champion Boris Becker, was due to address young people at the Dublin event, and Harriman asked Becker if he could get a slot for Markle.

In turn, Becker introduced Markle to his agent, Jean-Anne Elthorpe-Cown, who negotiates appearances by famous people in conferences, advertisements, and campaigns.

The book claims that, having booked another client, Bob Geldof, to speak in Dublin, Elthorpe-Cown was well-placed to ask the conference organizer Kate Robertson to give Markle a slot.

The actress then used her time to speak to the world's media about gender equality and positive change.

Elthorpe-Cown told Bauer that Markle's purpose in Dublin was to promote her profile, increase her income, and become influential.

Bauer also reveals how Markle was confronted by her then-love interest, chef Corey Vietiello, about her feelings for McIlroy during her time in Dublin.

When an Irish entertainment reporter published details of McIlroy and Markle's dinner at Fade Street Social Restaurant, it was said to have angered Vietiello, who had flown to Dublin from Toronto with Markle.

He allegedly challenged her over whether they had been having an affair, but Markle denied betraying him and claimed she and McIlroy were just friends.

In other news, and 's presence at the United Nations headquarters in New York sparked a protest.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the UN General Assembly on Monday, where Prince Harry delivered a keynote speech to mark Nelson Mandela International Day.

However, a protester with a sign asking why the pair were there stood outside the building.

The woman's placard read, “Mandela spent 27 years behind bars in SA.

Markle spent 18 months in castles and complained on TV during a pandemic.

Why are they here?”

The couple also ignored a US reporter's question about biographer Tom Bower's new royal book, which makes a series of bombshell claims.

The book is set to cause controversy and speculation about the couple's relationship with the media and their true intentions.
