Meghan Markle’s Secret Past with Matt Lauer Emerges, Threatening Her Royal Wedding

The royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has been the talk of the town for months.

However, a new report from the US has emerged that may threaten their upcoming nuptials.

According to the National Enquirer, Meghan was allegedly caught in a sneaky dressing room hookup with disgraced American TV host Matt Lauer after an appearance on the US Today show, before she started dating Harry.

An insider for NBC network claims that there was something going on between Meghan and Matt, and that Meghan was spied going into the TV star's dressing room on at least two occasions.

The source goes on to claim that while it wasn't unusual for Matt to ask female guests to go backstage with him between segments, he usually left his office door open.

However, with Meghan he chose to keep their meetings private.

The National Enquirer states that Meghan's indiscreet flirting with Matt has rocked the royals.

Meghan's association with Matt Lauer is the last thing she or the royal family needs, spills a royal source.

The notion of him creeping all over a future British princess is tawdry and disgusting.

Before meeting the British prince, Meghan appeared on Today a number of times as a fashion expert to promote her former lifestyle blog, The Tig.

They would flirt heavily with each other off the air and had undeniable chemistry, says the source.

Matt went out of his way to get Meghan on as often as possible.

Since Matt was instrumental in getting her on board as a sort of celeb consultant, he wanted to do many of the segments with her himself.

This news comes after a series of unfortunate events for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Harry and Meghan made headlines with their appearance at the United Nations headquarters in New York, but seemingly failed to impress people.

Harry's gesture and address at UN also remained talks of the town.

The Duke sparked reactions with his criticism on the US Supreme Court's decision to overturn its landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade.

Shortly afterwards, royal author Tom Bower released his book, Revenge, Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors.

The royal expert described the book as being a largely unrelenting, highly unflattering take on the Sussexes.

Then came the court battle between Meghan and her estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, who accused Meghan of allegedly telling false and malicious lies during her Oprah Winfrey interview last year.

The Duchess of Sussex has denied the claims.

Royal commentator Daniela Elza said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have taken hit after hit over the last 12 days or so, adding, things are not exactly looking that rosy over Montecito Way.

Elza also noted that Harry and Meghan may have been left with a hefty bill as a result of Prince Harry's legal battle with the Home Office over his security arrangements.

All these events have added to their worries.

The insider fears Meghan's May 19 wedding to Prince Harry is in serious jeopardy after now the 40-year-old actress's secret past has come to light.

The on-set spy claims Meghan and Matt, 64, vanished together and that Meghan was spied going into the TV star's dressing room on at least two occasions.

Whether it was just heavy, heavy flirting, Matt wouldn't have done it in front of his wife.

If anything more went on behind closed doors, it could severely damage Meghan's reputation and her relationship with Prince Harry.
