Meghan Markle’s Strained Relationships with Suits Co-Stars

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is known for her successful acting career before she married Prince Harry.

However, it seems that not everyone in the industry was a fan of hers.

According to Tom Bauer, Meghan didn't get along with all of the Suits co-stars.

Despite the apparent closeness of the Suits cast, Meghan didn't get along with anyone.

And when she got with Harry, things became incredibly tense.

When Meghan went to film her final scenes as Rachel Zane, where the character marries Patrick J Adams as Mike Ross, the palace instructed that during the filming of these scenes, she had to wear a jacket between taking over the wedding dress.

The palace thought it would give the public the wrong impression if she was spotted wearing it outside the set.

Meghan didn't get along with co-star Sarah Rafferty.

Despite them playing friends on screen, it should be noted that Sarah was above Meghan on the call sheet.

So were Gina Torres and Abigail Spencer.

Meghan Markle reportedly turned arrogant around the Suits co-stars soon after news of her involvement with Prince Harry became public knowledge.

Some actors and staff discovered that Meghan's attitude occasionally stiffened.

Sometimes she arrived late, and her empathy occasionally morphed into near-arrogance.

Meghan had markedly shifted from the early days when she held a prayer meeting with the Suits cast before filming started.

Recently, actress Gina Torres joined The Lion Lunch Hour to talk about the new season of a show on 9-1-1, Lone Star, and what it was like working with Meghan Markle in the past on the show's suits.

The presenter asked Gina Torres about Meghan, “As a friend, you must.

She must be going through a lot right now.”

Gina replied, “I'm sure she is.

I'm not in touch with her at all.

But as a human being on this planet, I wish her well.

I hope that the pendulum swings and finds its equilibrium somewhere in the middle that is tenable and that they find their peace and their joy.”

It's believed that Gina and Meghan were never close at all.

She probably sometimes gave Meghan advice, and Meghan was very kind to her because Gina was the bigger star.

It was just useful to have her at the wedding.

And furthermore, nothing better than being able to show all of the other people you worked with how much better than them you are than to invite them to your wedding with the prince so they could watch you marry him and see you on the grand stage.

Gina Torres once made a brutal joke about Meghan Markle in which she pretended she didn't know she's now the Duchess of Sussex.

Gina explained in an interview a few years ago that as an actress, she's worked with hundreds of people and cannot keep in touch with everyone.

She said that her and Meghan were on different trajectories, even before the royal romance.

However, Gina has said that she's been watching like everyone else and cheering her on from afar.

In an interview with People TV, she joked with host Jeremy Parsons about Meghan's royal role.

Jeremy said, “You may or may not know this, but your former suit star Meghan Markle is now the Duchess of Sussex.”

Gina quipped back, “I'm sorry, what, really?

I've been a little busy.

I've heard rumors.”

Reflecting on why she and Meghan are no longer in touch, Gina told Glamour there's no particular reason why they fell out of contact.

She said, “No, I'm not in touch with Meghan.

There's no story on why I'm not in touch with Meghan.

What I will say is this, if I could offer a window into what it is to be an actor and live this crazy life when you're an actor, you meet hundreds of people during your career.

The public only sees the characters that are on TV, but there are hundreds of people that make a show happen.
