Meghan Markle’s Wedding Dress: Who Will She Wear?
Meghan Markle has reportedly chosen her wedding dress and had her very first fitting.
The former Suits actress flew her close friend and stylist Jessica Moroney from Canada to London to help her decide on which gown to wear for the big day.
Following the fitting, Jessica reportedly stayed at Kensington Palace with the couple for four nights and helped Meghan decide on more outfits for her upcoming engagements.
According to Royal reporter Ahmed Skabi, Meghan attended a top-secret fitting at Kensington Palace with the designer.
Ahmed also tweeted that Meghan was incredibly excited by her first fitting and revealed that Jessica's daughter Ivy would be a flower girl on the day along with Princess Charlotte.
Prince George would be a page boy.

While we are yet to know the exact style of the dress, Meghan has previously given a glimpse of what she could look like on her big day as she posed in a beautiful gown for Canada's Hello magazine, modelling a gown from Jessica's Kleinfeld Canada bridal shop.
However, she's surely unlikely to wear one of the designs for her big day, as it would leave her open to criticism for using her wedding to promote a friend's business.
Meghan has revealed that her dream gown would be classic and simple.
“I personally prefer dresses that are whimsical or subtly romantic,” she said.
Just like Kate Middleton, interest in Meghan's style has rocketed, but the details of her gown and the designer are likely to be kept top secret until the big day itself.
Here are some possible front runners for her wedding dress:
Ralph and Russo
The bride-to-be wore a semi-sheer Ralph and Russo dress with gold feather detailing and a ruffled skirt for her official engagement photos, which is thought to have cost £56,000.
Could this be a hint that the London-based designers, Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo, will be behind her wedding gown?
Mishinanu
Meghan and Prince Harry were reportedly introduced to each other by their mutual friend, fashion designer Mishinanu.
The actress has been spotted in several of Misha's pieces over the years, most notably the husband's shirt for the Invictus Games in September.
While Misha's collection is mostly ready to wear, she could decide to venture into bridal wear, particularly for the wedding of two of her closest friends.
Antonio Berardi
Meghan was spotted in a nautical-style navy double-breasted dress by British designer Antonio Berardi for the polo in May.
Known for his glamorous and figure-hugging dresses, perhaps she already has him on speed dial for her upcoming nuptials.
If the couple are opting for a more low-key wedding, his simple and elegant designs could be perfect.
Roland Morit
Meghan is said to have become good friends with the French fashion designer after meeting him in Istanbul.
The actress has worn his pieces on a number of occasions, including a burgundy and black barrette dress and a gorgeous fishtail teal gown.
Famous for his galaxy dress, Roland Morit could collaborate with Victoria Beckham, who also attended Kate and William's wedding in 2011, for the ultimate celebrity collaboration.
Anne Barge
Could Meghan follow in the footsteps of her Suits character Rachel Zane and wear an Anne Barge design?
She wore the fairy tale-style Versailles dress by the Atlanta-based Couture Company in the show for her wedding to Rachel's boyfriend Mike Ross and reportedly had a lot of input with the choice.
Elie Saab
In an interview with Glamour, Meghan said that she'll always be a fan of Elie Saab when asked about her perfect wedding dress.
While Kate Middleton's Alexander McQueen gown was classic, the Lebanese designer is likely to create something more opulent for Meghan with embroidery and embellishments.
J. Mendel
In the same Glamour interview, Meghan also said, “J. Mendel is spectacular as well, especially for more structural designs.”
Has Ms Markle already eyed up a few gowns?
Her Suits character Rachel Zane has worn some of the French atelier's pieces, and with his signature ruffles and lace, the designer would make an excellent choice for a royal wedding.
Erdem
Renowned for his gorgeous floral gowns, Meghan could pay homage to her new home with a British-based designer.
Her sister-in-law Kate is a big fan of his and Meghan has already been spotted in one of his dresses for a wedding in Jamaica.
And with Erdem's Canadian roots, it would be a small tribute to Meghan's Toronto home, where Suits is filmed.
Designer Indel Dror, who was sent an official request from the palace, has released three sketches of gowns she could see Meghan walking down the aisle in.
One sketch shows a figure-hugging design with floral slash ruch detailing down the back and along the wide train.
It also has buttons running down the back and long sleeves with eccentric cuffs.
From the front, the dress featured a plunging neckline with lace detailing and a belted waist.
A different design features a similar collared neck, but this one isn't as plunging.
The long-sleeved dress has lots of lace detailing and a flattering V-neckline in across the body of the gown, that is fitted to the waist and flared down to the ground.
But surely releasing pictures is a major sign Dror will not be the winning option.
While we wait for the big day, only a small, select group of people know the designer's name, so don't expect to find out any time soon.
Even Harry made himself scarce during the first fitting he revealed.
