Meghan Markle’s Wedding Was a Hollywood Networking Event
Meghan Markle's wedding to Prince Harry was not just a royal affair, it was also a Hollywood networking event.
According to royal author Tom Bauer, Meghan had planned for the wedding to be an opportunity to interact with A-list celebrities.
However, her father, Thomas Markle, claimed that she did not know anyone on the guest list as well as he did.
Thomas Markle told Bauer that he knew the people at the wedding better than Meghan because he had filmed with them all at ABC and other studios.
Meghan had only met Oprah once for a few minutes and did not know George Clooney, who was just passing by when they met.
It seems that Meghan used her wedding to build up her career for when she returned to Hollywood.

Royal Family May Retaliate If Provoked Further
As Meghan and Harry become more vocal and political, breaking the royal mantra of never complain, never explain, a royal commentator has warned that the rest of the firm could strike back.
After repeated media provocations, including the now infamous bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Sussexes have been warned that there is only so much the royal family can take.
Daniela Elza, the royal commentator, has questioned whether the rest of the family will continue to sit idly by if Harry's book or the couple's Netflix series hits out at the firm.
She warned that the firm has some very sharp teeth and the family could pressure the couple to stop using their official titles, leaving them less recognizable to the public.
Meghan Markle's Political Aspirations
There have been speculations surrounding Meghan Markle's political aspirations.
Joe Biden's sister, Valerie Biden-Owens, told ITV's Good Morning Britain that the Democratic Party would welcome her, sparking interest in an eventual presidential bid.
When Ms Biden-Owens was asked if Meghan would make a good candidate for the US presidency she said, yes, perhaps, of course she will.
The strained relationship between the Sussexes and the House of Windsor threatens to break further.
If the couple continues to paint a target on the monarchy's back, the results could be them severing ties for good.
Already, Meghan and Harry were excluded from the Trooping of the Colour Buckingham Palace balcony appearance at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee as it was limited to working members of the Royal Family.
In fact, the Sussexes were absent from most of the celebrations events and returned to California before the Jubilee had ended.
