The coronation of King Charles is expected to be a significant national event, featuring a bank holiday weekend, a concert at Windsor Castle, and various community initiatives.

Buckingham Palace has stated that the service itself will balance long-standing traditions and pageantry, with a modern perspective on the monarch's role and aspirations.
