Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: An Official Announcement Soon

has been keeping his relationship with actress under wraps, but sources say the couple may be ready to make their union official soon.

According to insiders, the 33-year-old royal quietly proposed to Markle, 36, and the pair have been keeping their bliss private.

However, they are expected to make an official announcement next month, potentially after Markle wraps up her seventh and final season of the USA Network show Suits in November.

Markle, who recently spoke to Vanity Fair about her relationship with , acknowledged that dating a member of the royal family would mean embracing a life of public appearances and formal proclamations.

“I'm sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves,” she said.

A Markle insider told Us Weekly that they'll make an official announcement soon, potentially next month.

However, announcing their engagement sooner would pose a security risk for Markle, who would be followed everywhere by the media.

Therefore, sources predict the proclamation will come after Markle finishes filming her final season of Suits.

“She'd be behind Kensington Palace's protective walls, post-filming,” says a friend of Markle, “she'll relocate to London for sure.”

Once Markle is in London, she'll be on hand to help plan what insiders call a “detailed media roll-out.”

The couple will most likely hold a small photo call at Kensington Palace, with just one photographer and journalist invited.

On the same day, they'll do a TV interview that will be syndicated around the world.

Palace aides are being kept in the dark about the couple's news, but sources say preparations are already underway.

“These things are planned early in advance,” says a source.
