Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Could Attend King Charles III’s Coronation Next Year
According to a recent report, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may return to the UK to attend King Charles III's coronation next year.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly want legitimacy at the event, which is set to take place on May 6, 2023 – also their son Archie's birthday.
Despite Prince Harry's upcoming bombshell memoir titled “Spare,” royal commentator Leigh Cohen suggested that the couple could be waiting for an invite to the coronation.
Cohen stated that Prince Harry and Meghan are always happy to rise to the occasion for events that give them legitimacy, and the possibility of attending Charles' coronation will also rest on whether the event will give them a PR moment.
Cohen added that both Prince Harry and Meghan would be happy to snap up the opportunity as they have for other royal occasions, even after they stepped back.
However, it is important to note that Charles still keeps the guest list confidential, and no invitation will likely be extended to the overseas couple due to the publication of Harry's memoir.
Trending:
The publication of “Spare” is considered the last straw, and Harry has burned the last bridge to the royal family.
It's only a matter of time before Charles strips their title.
Recently, the couple has become increasingly aggressive, with Meghan and Harry announcing the published date of Harry's memoir, which coincidentally falls one day after Kate's birthday, considered a hit back at Charles.
It's also been reported that the couple is separated, and the fight at Queen's funeral never ends.
They can't come to an agreement, and divorce is now being considered.
Twitter users have expressed divided opinions on the matter.
Some have raised questions about the couple's attendance at the coronation, given that Harry is the son of the monarch.
Would he be seated near his brother and other close family members?
Are there ceremonial robes that they, Harry and Meghan, would also wear?
If that's the case, there's no way that Meghan would leave before the coronation, which is a major historical event that she'd be included in.
Others have criticized the couple for declining the Queen's invitation to Balmoral and refusing to attend Christmas at Sandringham.
They moan about how hard done by they are, but they refused because they didn't want to be snubbed due to their awful behavior.
Regardless of public opinion, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may still attend King Charles III's coronation next year.
It remains to be seen whether they will receive an invite, but if they do, it will undoubtedly be a historic moment for the couple.
