Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding is set to be a private affair, according to a source close to the 33-year-old royal.
The insider revealed to Us Weekly that Harry “doesn't want an extravagant ceremony” and that “pomp and pageantry is the last thing he would want”.
The couple are said to be considering St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle as a venue, which would offer some privacy and prevent the day from turning into a media circus.
Despite Harry's wishes for a low-key celebration, his royal family are expected to show their support.
The insider added that there was no question of whether Queen Elizabeth II would attend.
Harry and Markle met in London in July 2016, but their relationship wasn't confirmed until November of that year.
In September 2017, they made their first official appearance together at the Invictus Games in Toronto.
