Prince Harry Reveals Love for Friends and Mushroom Trip at Courtney Cox’s House
Prince Harry has recently released his memoir, Spare, where he admits to identifying with Chandler Bing, played by Matthew Perry, from the hit sitcom Friends.
The Duke of Sussex revealed that Friends became his constant companion during his struggles with panic attacks and withdrawal from public life.
He said, “I was a Chandler character,” referring to his cheekier and funnier side.
In the book, Harry also weighed in on the 2016 incident when he crashed at Courtney Cox's house.
He found the idea of crashing at Monica's house highly appealing and amusing, calling himself a Friends fanatic.
Harry even admitted to having a crush on Courtney.
Trending:
“I was still confused because she was Monica and I was Chandler,” he noted.
“I wondered if I'd ever work up the courage to tell her.
Was there enough tequila in California to get me that brave?”
However, the most shocking revelation in the book was Harry's mushroom trip at Courtney Cox's house.
He revealed that he ate some black diamond magic mushroom chocolates and washed them down with tequila.
Then, the silver bin in the toilet started staring at him with a huge grin.
This unexpected confession has stirred up controversy and criticism.
Despite the scandalous nature of Harry's revelations, he and his wife couldn't resist name-dropping Courtney.
Both of them are the right age to have loved watching Friends, and they even played a decades-too-late game of six degrees of Central Park.
Harry's mention of Courtney's name implies that she provided the mushrooms, but it's unclear whether she even knew about them being in her house.
While Harry's revelations have caused quite a stir, he is not the only one to have written a memoir.
Matthew Perry, who played Chandler in Friends, wrote a whole book about his drug-fuelled life without dragging his friends into the mess.
In contrast, Harry barely even met Courtney and seemed to have crashed her house without permission.
Meghan Markle, Harry's wife, has also been on the outs with Hollywood for a while now.
She has been seen hanging out with Alec Baldwin, who is considered a pariah in the industry.
Prince William, on the other hand, is the president of the BAFTAs, and many actors want to attend those awards and be recognized in both the UK and the States.
Now, Courtney Cox has been outed for offering illegal substances in her home, and Oprah Winfrey is probably furious as well.
Oprah looks like a fool after Harry denied that they called the royal family racist, which they absolutely did.
Most A-list celebrities value discretion and a private life, but the Suskices have shown that they can't keep their mouths shut.
Despite all the controversy, Spare has not been a hit in Australia or New Zealand.
In fact, a book on finance more than doubled the sales of Spare when it was released on November 22nd.
Spare has been reduced to half price, and numerous websites and department stores have it stacked on tables by the checkout for 50% off.
In contrast, Matthew Perry's book has been much more popular, with readers praising his jaw-dropping story and fantastic writing skills.
The Suskices have been snubbed by many prestigious events, including the Oscars, Golden Globes, Emmys, Met Ball, and Clooney Foundation events.
They were only given the Ripple of Hope award for fighting racism within the royal family, which they now deny, by a privileged white woman who wouldn't know racism if it bit her on the ass.
It's no wonder why this was supposed to be their year of reconciliation, but Penguin and Netflix weren't letting go of their royal dirt, which they paid for after all.
